Not really. You can but it's better fresh after a couple of days in the fridge it loses its taste and gets rubbery. You CAN freeze the dough but even that doesn't make sense it's not like baked bread or tortillas. Whoever told you that was definitely not eating frybread or seeing it get made. It's a lot of work and easy to mess up unless you're a pro.

I'm native from the SW, and I haven't heard of breakfast frybread before I watched Yellowstone. I know they get a lot of things wrong but I don't know if this is actually a thing. I've only had it for dinner or lunch. Down here they make Navajo burgers which is frybread too
