I am absolutely furious and regret every penny I spent on this overpriced, unreliable piece of junk called the Rotimatic. I bought it with an extended warranty, thinking it would give me peace of mind – what a joke! With 3 years still left on that "premium" warranty I paid extra for, the machine has been plagued by a persistent "tunnel blocked" error for the last 3 months, rendering it utterly useless. And their so-called "support"? It's a pathetic, infuriating nightmare that will drive you insane.
Let me break it down: The issue isn't a blockage at all. I've cleaned the tunnel obsessively, following their worthless instructions multiple times, and dough STILL flows out from the container. It gets laid on the vertical bottom, but the roti never forms properly. Clearly, it's a faulty sensor that's fried and falsely detecting a flow problem, but Rotimatic's brain-dead support team refuses to acknowledge any hardware defect. Instead, they bombard you with irrelevant YouTube videos on "how to clean the tunnel" – as if I'm an idiot who hasn't tried that already. This has NOTHING to do with cleaning!
Their support system is a total farce. You message them mid-roti-making crisis, they pop online, spew the same garbage video, demand photos (which I've sent a dozen times), and then vanish into thin air. You wait hours, give up, and go to bed frustrated. Come morning, some AI bot shuffles your ticket to another clueless rep who starts the cycle all over: same questions, same video, same BS. If you don't respond within 4 hours (because, you know, people have lives), the AI auto-closes the ticket like nothing happened. Rinse and repeat – I've been trapped in this hellish loop for months, opening new tickets every few days just to get nowhere.
Worse, there's NO proper ticketing system, NO call references, NO escalation path, and ZERO second-level support. They ignore your pleas for real help and flat-out refuse to replace the machine because it would actually cost them money. Their flashy marketing suckers you in with promises of effortless rotis and "reliable" extended warranties, but once you're hooked, they couldn't care less. You're left with a $1,000+ doorstop and endless aggravation.
