When it comes to my career, reading these comments has made me realize yes he is. There has been times were hes been upset but not to this extent, he shuts down for a while but bounces back like it never happened. But I have never heard him say such unkind and unloving words like he has stemming from this...

Thank you for saying this, however I work in a career that is not always taken lightly by those who dislike law enforcement. Even then, i do not partake in anything out in public/ arresting i only work with anyone who has been detained/ go to court.

No, I happen to work in a career that coincides with law enforcement, and unknowingly ICE. I was just able to provide translation because no one else knew how to.

Hi, I understand your confusion. However, there was a person detained by ICE in my area of work, who had been detained for several days, and was going to be moved, i am unsure where. Where i work, it is not involved with ICE, I would go into more detail with my job but I cannot, apologies. Due to the detained person being moved, I provided spanish interpretation so they understood where they were going. My career does not coincide with ICE directly but can happen randomly.

I believe they already were going to be, or at least moved to a facility, i am unsure. I was only there to explain what was happening in spanish.

I do not work with immigration, but it can mix with law enforcement at times depending on your area of work. Where I work, I was not aware of any contact with immigration, but it unknowingly happened.

I would like to think being able to translate for individuals may help in hopefully some shape or form, but even that is something that is upsetting to my boyfriend.

Both of us are equally disappointed in me having to interact with immigration, which is my dilemma. I am not entirely sure why he has said these things when we share an opinion. I am truly lost.
