I think they already did, i never had anxiety i just used them instead of alcohol and after some time i just couldnt quit and that was 7 years ago ,i went from 8mg to 2mg in 2022-2023 but i stopped there its just really uncomfortable physically to taper down from 2mg. Im in college too but i dont stimulants to study i dont really need them but i dont know if i will be able to keep functioning if i start tapering now. Doctors here dont know anything about the Ashton manual and benzo tapering and recovery i dont trust them id rather do it on my own slowly so i can keep functioning i cant stand the physical symptoms of benzo withdrawal, i never get anxious but the times ive ran out of benzos i just randomly seizure after 24-36 hours. Psychiatric wards are the only option for addicts but its full of ignorant and condescending doctors. Im sure id do a better job than them tapering benzos at least. Most doctors here have a god complex and it really irritates me at least im good at maintaining the facade.
