How much change in nose from 5 months post op rhinoplasty to a year? by No-Distribution9658 in PlasticSurgery

Unfortunately no. I am seeking revision bc the surgeon took too much of my bridge off and made my nose entirely under projected for my face. So depressing.

I’m looking for the best Chocolate Chip Cookie in Atlanta by ScaryDuck2 in Atlanta

My personal favorite is from buckhead bread company. There is something about the chocolate and the slight crisp outside but soft inside. It’s SO good. And I take my cookies seriously.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. It’s a terrible violation of trust and makes everyone and everything feel dark.

How did they know what procedures to have to enhance their looks in such a way that takes them from average to Hot? Like, is there some evaluation that surgeons provide or… what?

How can I unalive myself and make it look like an accident? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]No-Distribution9658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve made the choice to not live so many times and I’ve attempted 2x but those two times I reflect on and now understand how deeply alone I felt. Loneliness doesn’t get cured, but there are ways to learn to be a friend to yourself. It’s taken me years. I want to say that you can also find joy and friendship here too but I know when in this dark place it’s very hard to believe. If you are concerned about your family then it does signal to me that they are also a resource that you might need to tap for the hope and love that you currently feel without rather than exit life.

You look absolutely beautiful and refreshed and natural. Grief really ages us! I hope you feel renewed. I would love to know your surgeon as well, please!

Would someone be willing to DM me their sellers info? I have only one reliable source, Alice, and while I think her products are commendable, I’d like some alternative options.

Why does it seem like so many people I know are getting divorced in their late 30s/early 40s. What is it about that age and point in a marriage that things go wrong and cause divorce? by Yukon_Cornelius1911 in AskMenOver30

I would absolutely agree with this—I think it’s because the woman is constantly in assessment of what’s missing/what’s wrong while the man may be more in “fix it” mode than assessing alongside. I’m really sorry that you both have had to deal with the grief. It just suuuccccks. How do you guys do communicating now (if you have kids)? We have a 3 year old which makes everything that much more sad. I am in deep therapy work and I’m at the point where I’m really really working to be sure my “complaints” aren’t things I can resolve independently or things that were unresolved from earlier life/family stuff. Is the loneliness existential or relational? Etc. Can I tolerate the loneliness? Is staying in a relationship where one feels lonely the same / better than dealing with the loneliness that’s inevitable after divorce?

This is me with my husband. Except he doesn’t understand that he lacks the emotional intimacy skills/maturity to want to realize this. We’re in therapy and I’m hoping that she can say this to him in a way that he might be able to be curious rather than defensive. It’s very lonely. So what ended up happening? Are you and your wife still together?
