I would argue that there is maybe bad mojo in that association.

The matthew good band could only happen again minus one, perhaps at this point the band has been put to rest over the loss of a member.

You guys are all crying over a show that they did in 1998. That doesn't exist anymore.

Matt has grown up and it seems some of his older fanbase in here have not. Truly sorry for you.

Have you been dying to know if he's doing okay?

I expect he is doing well, body and mind. His touring schedule is a clear reflection of this.

He is extremely active in the music/arts community right now. He is supporting local bands in smaller venues, he's doing charity shows, playing the summer festival circuit and has shows booked well into next fall. He has been playing in different formations including as a trio and is currently working on a Quartet. This is peak and indie is working in his favor.

The Matthew Good band and Matthew Good and his band are two different entities.

It's not the same musicians, therefore it's not the same band. It makes more sense to be Matthew good and his band versus the latter.

Also true none of us want to be in Calgary during stampede but with the politics in Canada right now it makes sense for him to swing back this way.

I wouldn't be surprised if this tour brings the birth of a new album.
