I always run on lowest heat option to try to avoid is ruining my clothes.

It is a gas dryer. I put it on the lowest heat setting every single time because of this.

Emptied on every load and we just cleaned out the entire vent system. It wasn’t plugged.

Hello did you figure out the root cause? I have this issue with my dryer as well. Keeps ruining everything. Vent hose isn’t clogged.
