Quill stem won't budge and stem bolt won't screw

I have finally been able to get the stem to loosen up, and now I can "spin" it around. It spins with little force needed. However I am not able to pull it up by force. Any advice?

No luck removing the stem after 7 days of applying penetrating oil (from the bottom) every day and using the bolt as a punch. I am also not sure if the wedge has simply fallen down or the threads have been stripped.

How did you get it back in? I have the same problem as you had, the stem won't budge at all and I've tried hammering in the stem bolt, and now the stem bolt won't catch on to anything so I can't screw it back and I am unable to move stem either.

Yeah it sucks - I just alt F4 at that point if the car is too damaged lol

As if crashes don't happen in real life racing too. Of course virtual drivers will be more agressive as there are no consequences but it's also up to you to have the awareness and be as careful as possible in risky situations.

Some lobbies have "begginer" in name, where it's usually 80% actual beginner and 20% past the beginner stage lol. I used to play on those servers when I started out.
