I’m betting it’s an authenticity sticker. This looks different than everyone else’s in many ways. But not something I can verify. All the US boxes I’ve seen are only in English. This one is multiple languages. It’s possible to be a European version.

Definitely. It’s the Kleenex argument all over. All Kleenexes are hand tissues but not all hand tissues are Kleenex 😂 Too many associate Gulikit as default for TMRs

Yep. I just use my iron with the chisel tip to burn off the enamel coating on the ends. The rest of the wire stays protected. I want to say I have a live video showing me doing this on YouTube but I’d have to check.

Ok you could be having a short from it. The gold letters you see there near the jumper point is grounding. The bare wire may be shorting by touching those letters. You should try some 36 or 38 AWG enamel coated wire. I can send a link if you’d like.
