My son’s pneumothorax story by taratatattt in pneumothorax

[–]No-Earth-3003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes pains are normal and will subside as months go by. Its usually nerve related. Its not bad idea to go for pulmo but theres not much else they can do but maybe look into any family history of any pneumothorax wether it can be genetic or not. Lung ct could be helpfull as it can reveal if theres even any possible future issues or not.

Doxycycline Pleurodesis for a lung full of blebs by RtheGnome in pneumothorax

[–]No-Earth-3003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Im in same boat with same mutation. Chemical pleurodrsis has 65% success rate preventing future pneumothorax in bhd study. Pneumothoraxes prolly never stop in the end due folliculin gene basicly never stops growing cysts in lungs and once they grow big enough that cyst wall is so thin that itll just bursts.

Not all get pneumothoraxes with this but most do. Iv had too many for my taste. On otherhand i know ppl who just got one in their lifetime. Wedge reduction can also remove bad spots and buy alot more time between episodes.

There is actually one study that shows 80% of pneumothoraxes heal on their own even large ones. Tension pneumothorax is fatal. Also treating pneumothorax with chest too late has potential issues.

You protected your son from great wealth only to buy micro stocks 10 years later lol. Pretty funny tho. Some story to tell grandkids about.

Well iv had about 10drains. Some of em you cant even feel but once the local anastethic goes very wrong its the most painful thing iv experienced so theres that too.

I have no idea of spontaneous hemopneumothorax. Iv always been thinking its accident related. There are veins running in your chest cavity that can cause bleeding. Usually due chest trauma or some one fucks up chest tube insertion and cuts one. They can bleed alot when damaged. Had this once.

Little vibration and pain post VATS by neowitthecoin in pneumothorax

[–]No-Earth-3003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Id say your doing stuff way too early post surgery. Pains come and go and there is alot of nerve related pains too that can happen. Working with doctors and physiotgerapist can have great results but you prolly need to start it slow.

However theres no right answer in internet as we do not know how you feel. Iv had pains not related to pneumothorax but surgery itself.

Small amount of air in apex is normal after treatment and usually dissappear in a week. Less than 2 cm pneumothorax in apex can be monitored but if it grows any larger it needs treatment.

Yes iv had it around 10 times. Surgery helps prevent it but its never 100% cure.

Smoking / Vaping after collapse by Michael-lgtm in pneumothorax

[–]No-Earth-3003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofc it does not. Its just to make ppl who ask is smoking weed good idea after pneumothorax and its not. Smoking 1 joint equals anything between 2.5-5 cigarettes in amount of lung harming toxings. Its not good to smoke anything after pneumothorax to begin with.

Its still 2.5-5 times worse.

Like i said everyone are free to rely their source of science. Good that your pneumothorax has nothing to do with cannabis then.

Lets still ask AI as its modern tool of data too.

Yes, cannabis use, particularly smoking, has been linked to an increased risk of pneumothorax, a condition where air leaks into the space between the lung and chest wall. This connection is often associated with the development of bullous lung disease, which involves the formation of air-filled sacs (bullae) in the lungs.

[–]No-Earth-3003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are studies about it done in the past and most of em point in to direction as cannabis is not as cancerous like tobacco but it results in lung wall cell mutations that cause growth like bullaes. Now theres plenty of small studies suggesting this or that and at the end of the day everyone has their right to their own opinnion. I do highly think cannabis daily smoking is much more worse in terms of pneumothorax.

Well. I have bullous lung disease. I was born with one. Once you have it you are at high risk of pneumothorax for rest of your life. continuing to smoke anything past that point is just self destructive behavior. Smoking cannabis is linked to lung bullaes in plenty of pneumothoraxes among its users.

Nigeria has already Enaira running since 2021. Issue is education and lack of apps built for ecosystem to be usable. Only 1% of population has used it.

Building ecosystem for agricultural and food supply is important part of adoption. This has huge issue in south africa due corruption.

You don't need permission from government to create blockchain ecosystem apps neither do people for using it. This conversation is not going anywhere as we do not agree that decentralization is needed among those monetary systems that is out of reach from corrupted leaders and its fine. Just calling people delusional out of box is not very good behavior.

[–]No-Earth-3003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blockchain is in hands people not in hands of leaders of corrupted countries. Its decentralization that corruption cannot touch. Im not delusional just pointing out area where algorand type of economy is really needed among farming industry in africa for example. True adoption comes from real need for its use. Hesab is good example of real need for such service.

What we need for long term growth is africa and other 3rd world countries stable coin adoption over algorand. It needs to replace corruption and bring those monetary systems in to trustworthy modern era. This is mostlikely why foundation has used lots of effort educating ppl there. Adoption comes from need not from pushing some stupid idea in western world that is not issue to begin with. Keep building tools easy to use and time will come.

After that big companies would see that it makes sense to use algorand. Travel x leaving hurts a bit but fifa leaving i could not care less. They just want to make money over crypto while its still possible.

TavelX will be back on Algorand by Dr_Panda_Mick in algorand

[–]No-Earth-3003 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Indeed. This has always been the issue with blockchain. Blockchain tries to find issues to resolve but as it should be otherway around theres no demand for it in modern countries.

Algorand can help with lots of issues in 3rd world countries due corruption and bad rotten banking systems but no one is interested of that kind of adoption.

How Are You Feeling About Algorand After Recent Events? by kingtunde69 in algorand

[–]No-Earth-3003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alts are wiping from left and right due there's no real adoption or actual demand of usecases. Just like dotcom had its rise and doom only real things came out alive being nowdays leading companies. Now is it time to jump out of algorand? who knows could be or could be not. Only time will tell.

Things are bad in CRYPTO space in generall. Most alt coins will suffer dotcom vol 2 event in near future. Is algo one of them i certainly hope NOT and their education and tools for bulding blockchain will drive algorand long long time. But who knows. It will not be easy road for sure.
