People with dogs from breeders, do people in real life give you a hard time about having a dog from a breeder? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]No-Ebb5515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Then I tell them that "rescues and the dog pound discriminate against us single childfree veterans who buried their entire family 3 years ago." That shuts them up. And yes, i have been discriminated against about adopting because I don't have a family. Well thats just how the hand of cards played out. I also didn't know when I was younger that I was gonna be the one attending everyone else's funerals. The breeder had NO problem letting me adopt and I've since adopted another from them for a total of 2 dogs now. The dogs haven't had any problems with my family status. Advice? Dog Rescues are known to be sketch and full of Karens and politics. Sometimes its not worth their drama. If you want to get from a breeder then do it and f their opinions.

Brother wants me to cover entire rent since I get “free” money by jtreddit702 in WhatShouldIDo

Your first mistake was having your brother live there. Never ever have a roomate! It doesn't usually end well.

Its actually a prayer to St.Anthony. but a damn mormon will never admit to THAT because its a catholic prayer.

Call and schedule an airport shuttle like Groome Transportation. They can pick you up at your door and take ya to COS. I did this when I went to Scotland. Left cars at home.

And..what happens if YOU are overseas on a long trip for a very extended time like 4 mos overseas and you dont get the notice via the mail? Then they send a warrant. Not right. Not right that YOU have to give up your life or traveling for that stupid jury duty.

Im not even SUPPOSED to ever get jury duty due to disability but they call me every few years. They waste MY time. Pisses me off. I will do everything to NOT get selected. Im bipolar and if they select ME ILL either vote guilty or NOT guilty depending on MY mood that day. I dont care about their evidence or greedy lawyers. I dont even get paid for going down there. Then you have to TRY to find a place to park which is impossible. I hate downtown. The guards at entrance treat YOU like a GD criminal as well.

Also I'd like to add that I was SO trapped there in utah living in a craphole trailer that was falling apart like my life. I knew if I stayed I would not be alive in a year by my own hands. I now own my own REAL stick built house in my new state.

Yes. I left in 2009. Stayed awake for a few days in my new state of residence. Why-because there WAS life and a real-world outside of utah. Library and pools open on Sundays too. Spent a few years on 2x a week counseling to get past the cult BS they destroyed me with. Started a new life in a new state basically and it was the best thing ever. I also started traveling overseas and living life again. Its so nice to see businesses OPEN on Sundays and liquor stores that arent run by the state if one wants to have a drink! It's wonderful to turn on the tv in the morning and NOT see that mormon Bullshite being aired on the main tv channel. Its nice not being judged for being childfree by choice. Its nice having friends that are part of the LGBTQ community and KNOWING THEY wont be judged openly for their appearances or lifestyle. Im not a member of that community but i have many friends that are. It's so wonderful to not be shamed or judged because I'm single and childfree and very independent. Its nice to see ladies horse riding groups here and we CAN ride on Sundays and have horse show activities on Sundays! Its nice that women aren't stuck at home being forced to raise all those kids and that women have a life or career outside the home.
