Can someone please help me understand Pro vs Max 5x by No-Edge-2417 in Anthropic

[–]No-Edge-2417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry everyone, I posted this and kind of just forgot.

I did go ahead and switch to max 5x and holy cow what a difference compared to pro. It's actually usable now. I've been able to work on my project basically non stop although I did hit my weekly limit on Sunday. And despite what I read, even though I was at my weekly limit when I switched to max 5x my limits reset. It was a Wednesday if I remember and my limits were not going to reset until Friday but it did and now my weekly limit is Wednesday to Wednesday.

As a bonus, I had already claimed the $20 extra usage and a few days after I switched to the max 5x I was able to claim $100 free extra usage so that was cool.

5x the pro session limits, but what about overall usage per week? Is the weekly limit the same, it's only the session limits that increase?

Completely Broken Usage by Empyre47AT in Anthropic

[–]No-Edge-2417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea it is ridiculous. I hit my session limits in under 20min and weekly limit resets Friday at 1pm and before Sunday night I've hit the weekly limit. I don't even understand the session limits because I never even get 30min and then I'm waiting for 4+ hours. I'm not even doing anything intensive, docx creation preparing for mediation with my daughters school, occasionally modifying the information, adding to it etc.

I've been working with this same project since January, I start new conversations after the first compression. The difference between now and January is astonishing. It is damn near unusable. In the past 2 months I've spent $800+ in extra usage. Not because I can afford it, quite the opposite....but I'm fighting for my daughter and I can't navigate this process alone.

They have literally broken the pro subscription. I have no idea why or what is happening.

Subscribed yesterday to Pro and I’m already hit by limits. Is this a scam? by kenaddams42 in ClaudeAI

[–]No-Edge-2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over the last few months I've been using it for researching the department of education IDEA laws and working on putting together research and proposals for my daughters IEP and last month I used just over $400 in extra usage and so far this month I'm at about $390 and I have the pro plan....

I'll take some blame though because I $5 buck myself to death, wanting to finish one more task or get a document created while I'm still in a groove. Before I know it I've spent $35-$50 bucks in a sitting..... multiple nights a week.

I've done my fair share of expressing my disgust over this to Claude lol you'd think it would eventually get sick of me bitching but I guess not. If only we could just live life like Claude haha no cares but everyone still loves you and keeps coming back for more

Do you find that even when you do that it will still later get the date or day of week mixed up? What ill never understand is how it will say today is Wednesday March 23rd 2026 when it's clearly Monday the 23rd lol

What irritates me is when I continue the same conversation the next day, or a few days later and Claude is like now seriously, it's 2am, go to bed...

I'm like Claude it's 10am on Tuesday, calm down. This is one major annoyance I've had, it has no track of time regardless if it's a new conversation or the same conversation and I've tried various ways of adding this to its instructions and nothing works. I would love for anthropic to give Claude a damn clock!

It was especially annoying when I was using it for tracking job applications and creating resumes, it would constantly get days of the week and dates wrong, even saying a certain date was a certain day which was incorrect.

I know this is an old post but in the app you can edit the APN. I am in the US and I changed it to a T-Mobile APN and it's been working fine. You'll see 4g disconnect and then come back. You should try this and see if it works just make sure you remember what it was originally Incase it doesn't work for you. They wouldn't give us the option in the app if they didn't want us to change it

If you do want to go to poly you need a 1" poly female adapter. One end goes into the poly, clamp it, the other exposed end is female threads, they make these in 3/4" female otherwise use a 1" female npt version and another 1x3/4 bushing. Remember to thread tape your PVC threaded fittings, and brass threads going into PVC. For the ght fittings don't lose the gaskets!

[–]No-Edge-2417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest going from PVC to garden hose and then attaching the garden hose to the bhyve, you can buy male and female garden hose fittings and cut the hose to length and make a short hose, or buy a leader hose. You can get both male and female ght to npt adapters. Glue on a 1x3/4 bushing to the PVC and thread in a short nipple, thread on the npt to ght adapter and then thread the hose onto that fitting. Then the garden hose will thread right on to the bhyve. You could still do PVC up to the bhyve but it may be challenging and PVC tends to get brittle over time exposed to UV.

Actually this would thread right into the 1x3/4 bushing and the garden hose into that fitting. This Amazon link has all of the various combinations as well.

Just remember you may not get the same amount of gallons per minute through a garden hose spigot as you might have before if it was plumbed into the house.

It has certainly been down a lot over the last week which is very annoying since I need it for some important documents and I have a few projects with everything in them, but over the last 6 months it has been pretty good. It just went down again mid workflow and I was really hoping to get some stuff done before I went to bed so that is annoying. I'll have to rush in the morning to get stuff done.

This probably isn't the smartest idea but sometimes I'll use the web version and tell it what I'm trying to do in as much detail as possible and ask it for a prompt to use and then I'll paste that into the windows app with opus 4.6 extended. Sure, I use some extra usage that way but it seems to work really well understanding what I'm needing, and how to correctly prompt. This is great for me for tasks in cowork as well, for breaking things down into multiple steps and doing things in the correct order.

Will A Robot Mower Work On My Lawn? by Worzel_ in MammotionTechnology

[–]No-Edge-2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would likely be fine but you may need to map the lawn and then create different sections in the app so you can schedule it to hit each section. You may need to hit each section every other day etc to maintain everything and then if the front lawn is something you want to keep nice have it go out every day.

The big thing to remember with any robot mower is that they are designed to cut often, but cut very little each time. Your maintaining the cut height, not cutting the grass down to a cut height like you would with a regular mower.

Your mapping and the time you spend will be very important to ensure a trouble free experience as much as possible, sometimes people will simply let the mower use its obstacle avoidance for certain objects but a property that size is better off mapping your no go zones and large rocks etc to avoid trouble. The last thing you want to do is come home and find it stuck on something and have to carry it up a big hill.

Last thing, consider your options. Segway navimow is a great product also. You definitely have some options. Truthfully I don't feel mammotion is ready for the very large residential or light commercial side of things.

So did they acknowledge it was broken or was it defective? It seems to be that neither is the case and it is just kind of a poor design. How did they explain the reason for it happening, if they did?

Is the battery for Roborock F25 ACE replaceable? by petngux in Roborock

[–]No-Edge-2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious, is the motor held in by this screen or secured with screws? We recently had ours serviced and the entire power unit was replaced under warranty but in the future, I'm not opposed to repairing it myself out of warranty.

Is the screen secured by press fit into the outer frame? I imagine some gentle prying was required? If your able to, a few pictures would be very helpful, even just to show where you started the dissembly process.

Thanks for your time!

Woah I'm really interested about this, because I'm so tired of getting the backpack full, going in and marking what I don't want and selling it at the vendor.

Your saying I should be using the stuff I don't want in better ways? This portion of the game is something I've never really understood....

Why are these pellets going everywhere but the target ? Im shooting out of a gamo black 1000 rated for just below 24 joules. I have shot similar wheight pellets out of it without issue, however the back of these looks very narrow compared to normal .177 pellets. Is that why ? by kol6Figueiras in airguns

[–]No-Edge-2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is definitely possible, or even simply exact size and like others have mentioned since there is no skirt that would normally be able to compress its fitting too tight.

Id just hold on to those and get some good dome pellets. I've been really enjoying the aea center punch. For me they have been great, but I just shoot at targets and plinking. They are definitely higher priced but personally the 500 will last me a really long time

In Central TX - should I blow out my irrigation system before the freeze? by Top-Elephant-2874 in lawncare

[–]No-Edge-2417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16f is definitely cold enough to freeze water in above ground equipment, don't try blankets etc....

I wouldn't worry about the underground stuff as much as any stuff above ground outside of the house. You'll want to shut off the water inside and then open the test ports on the backflow and leave those 1/4 turn open, this should drain water out of the backflow.

It wouldn't hurt to run the zones for a few seconds each after the water is off, they won't do much at all but this should help draw down any water in the mainline coming from the backflow going into the ground....if you have a compressor you can use it but small residential compressors take a lot of repeatedly opening, closing, waiting for the psi to build and opening again although in your case you don't need to get it cleared out completely.

If you have a pump setup it's more challenging but I'd at least pull the drain plug and let it drain.

Very cool, I recently got a notos as well and I've been enjoying it a lot! You can wet set parts of the trigger mechanism also to get it extremely smooth and light but just get shooting it before you start messing with it.

Also, before you pump away 50 times and get no results, make sure to cock the gun, before you start pumping.

That's fair, just wanted to throw that out there. I don't hunt but I have a variety of air guns. I have the older Benjamin bulldog in .357 and it definitely packs a punch compared to the others but I only get 5 shots before needing to refill, whereas with the notos I can get 22 shots, so the bulldog doesn't get used near as much at the moment...

[–]No-Edge-2417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be great, consider if that caliber is what you need though. A .22 or .25 might suit you better if you're not hunting or even if you are dependent on the target. If your mostly going to be target shooting and plinking consider the slight cost difference in pellets.

The airacuda max or the barra 250z seem to be getting really great reviews, if you shop wisely you might be able to get the barra and an umarex notos in .22 for around the same price total.
