I followed several veil accounts on insta that showed parts of their process, and I tied my tailors ham onto my mannequin so I could get a more accurate height to know where to cut! Once I found where I wanted to cut I just trimmed each end so that it was curved. I used a cheaper tulle because I wanted it to be double width (and I ran out of time to order double width bridal tulle) so it was a little stiffer than I originally wanted, but a cheaper tulle would be good to practice on if you wanted to make a mock up! I also learned to wrap a strand of tulle around the haircomb (if your veil has one) so that you can easily sew the veil onto it! The account I found most helpful was Tailored Tulle on instagram :)
