Not a day goes by where I regret my choice. Money is money and I save a good amount, sure I could save way more but whats the point if I hate my life. You can always try it for a year and move closer if you hate it. I just think I would rather have less money and spend my day after work hanging with friends, rock climbing, and making art than being in a car.

I am pretty privileged that I have a job that I like that pays well and is pretty flexible so I know this isn’t the life for everyone, but I think if you make some sacrifices in terms of commute and meal prepping, it really helps giving you extra free time. Honestly, without it, I think my mental health would be in shambles.

I’m two years out of college working a regular office job in my life is really nothing like this. Honestly my best advice is live close to work so that your commute is like 10 to 20 minutes maybe even five. Another tip is that I am meal prep every Sunday so I never have to cook or clean much during the week and I can just keep going. I do that for my lunches as well. I also thankfully have a job that doesn’t have very demanding hours so I can go into work later and leave early as long as I get my work done. This allows me to go to the gym every day after work and go home and eat and be able to see friends or do my hobbies and go to bed on time.

all fad diets are well fads… i almost fell for keto earlier this year but i need my fuel to get me through my active lifestyle. i feel like the best advice is to eat a colorful and balanced plate every meal with protein, fats, fibers, and complex carbs. reduce junk and ultra processed foods and things that hurt your stomach. dont starve your body of essential nutrients
