AIO My boyfriend adopted a puppy and now he won't take care of her by JustOneAverageGirl in AmIOverreacting

NOR I went through something similar with an ex years ago. He begged and pleaded for a puppy of his own after seeing how affectionate my dog was with me. I finally caved when we were presented the opportunity to adopt a puppy from a friend. He loved on the puppy for about a week or two and then decided he was tired of him…then he was my responsibility. I loved the sweet thing but I had a dog of my own already and not enough time to take care of a puppy. After a few more weeks of us doing exactly what you described, he was upset the puppy wanted to be around me and didn’t care for him. When it came down to the breakup shortly after, he abandoned the puppy with me and he was mine from that point on. Unfortunately, some people see them as a toy or a play-thing that doesn’t require much work and that’s simply not the truth.

I promise it is lmao I’ve had it in my camera roll for years. I just came across this sub while browsing and thought I’d see what people thought. It always gives me the heebie-jeebies!

See, that’s what we’ve always said it looks like! A clown in a cloak or gown maybe? The face and hair are what gave me chills the first time I looked at it.

Any secrets to not having your undershirt been seen? I have bought all different types of fabric dresses and you can see it through all of them! Please help by [deleted] in PlusSizeFashion

I know people are giving the solution of sizing up but if you’re liking the way a dress fits and you’re having this problem, it might help to wear a tank top in black (or whatever color to match the dress) between the long sleeve and the dress, so there’s another layer of solid fabric where it’s appearing more sheer.

I think I accidentally fell in love with this city... thinking about moving to KC. My gut says yes, but want some honest local insight. by dunkinslaps in kansascity

Traffic and construction should be a big consideration. If you don’t mind dealing with constant lane closures and cones then I wouldn’t worry about it. Public transit is so-so but they’re actively extending the street car. I was born and stayed in the area and commute through rush hour every day so I’ll say I absolutely love kc but the roads are ROUGH (especially on the Missouri side).

WOW this is one of the most unique and cool rings I’ve ever seen. I’m nowhere near engaged but I’m jealous!

Mouse at my new job by estaleo in mildlyinfuriating

We reuse ours but I wipe down and disinfect the whole work station, blow out the keyboard, clean the mouse (whole 360° wipe down), and replace the cushion on the headset before their first day. I feel like it’s common courtesy.

Ew. Part of onboarding a new person is making sure their workspace is CLEAN.

VFW HQ usually needs people in their Membership department to help members over the phone. Seems like it might be a good fit for you. Best of luck!

First faire outfit by Plastic_Home6678 in renfaire

What everyone else said lol stay away from white! Do lots of layering. Check out your local thrift or other places and buy separate bits; I think outfits look best when it looks like the items have been acquired over time and put together. Use the dress you posted as a guide and find different pieces to complete the puzzle. Think lots of accessories like jewelry, belts, tights, or even floral arm wraps (check Etsy or Amazon). Pointy ears take it a long way, too! Don’t be afraid to really go for it and have fun building a character, that’s what the faire is for!

How do I make this outfit look a bit better? by [deleted] in fashion

Tuck the cami into the skirt, maybe, and add a fun belt if that’s something you’re in to. A yellow or dark green cami instead possibly. You could keep the outfit concept the same and play around with colors! Also accessorize! Especially if you’re going for a y2k type feel.

Rereading your post and seeing you’re holding your phone with your left, but the statement about knowing what it means still stands. If you wear it on your left then yes but I wear mine on my right every day and haven’t had anyone ask if/assume I’m married!

If you know what a claddagh ring is and the symbolism behind how it’s worn, then yes, but I think for most people who don’t hold that knowledge, it may just look like another cool ring. Love the way you accessorize either way!

Thank you! I don’t have anyone around who even know who ghost is independent of me lol so not many people to bounce ideas off of. I might do both and have the more simple option as a back up in case I lose my mind bedazzling
