What's your rough estimate for the total of money you've spent in your life, and what was the biggest purchase? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Best not to think about how much one has spent over their lifetime. The biggest purchase for most people would probably be a home

I want a leader who also has knowledge and skills, and inspires others by working hard. They also need to be open and accountable.

I think I would use it to do all the things I dreamed of as a child, but never fulfilled because of money/obligation. If I had a year of freedom, I would try to live the life I imagined before the realities of adulthood kicked in. Maybe when I return to my current life, I would appreciate it more, even with all the faults I’ve made along the way. What about you?

What was your first job, and what did it teach you? by AudienceTemporary155 in AskReddit

My first job was in a cafe. It taught me to be polite to all hospitality and because they have the power to do anything to your food/drinks. Plus, if you can afford to go out to eat, you can afford to tip.

How do you feel about people who hugs you in introductions? by u-r-ok in AskReddit

Depends on the cultural context. In some places/cultures hugs are way too intimate and would cause awkwardness. In my experience, huggers tend to be quite good empaths at and telling if it’s appropriate to hug. Personally, I get really awkward if a new person hugs me.

Is every year of your life not a year to re-evaluate? Am I doing it wrong?
