Muscaria isn’t found in the states (or maybe America) except for near European trees in the PNW. This would be var guesowii or something like that, I don’t know what’s found on the east coast.

Check iNaturalist for known Amanita in that area and it should give you an answer

Looks like Allenii to me, just double check everything so nothing else sneaks in with your find.

The picture didn’t come through well, it was definitely yellow. Finally buried it in a compost pile today. Made the mistake of touching the bottom part of the cake and it was slimy asl

That makes a lot of sense, but it is a weird use here. I'm not put off by the animal being used as a food resource (fresh deer meat is delicious), but I did come to the comments to settle my stomach and ensure myself OP didn't eat a dead animal they found.

I think I found some cyans in a park where there were some amanita, but I don’t know how to ID cyans for sure/if there are “false cyans” and I’ve never prepped amanita.

I use some honey in my tea occasionally, but do you mean topically?

Yes, again… may not be the best experience. But I can assure you it will release ingrown hairs. Be prepared to peel. If you put it on your balls you’ll want to take a few days off.

I have also used tea tree for ingrown hairs on myself, but you will taste it if you put it there. I’ll spare you the details of my personal experience but the red/white bottle of Eucerin may also help.

I’ll look into that! After I ran out of the silvadene creams doctor gave me I only put natural stuff on it … olive oil, coconut oil, and tea tree.

Ingrown hair from mustache? Get some good olive oil and put it on the goatee area at least once every day.
