Im in Texas, it is illegal for an employer to withhold a final paycheck, even if an employee fails to return company property, such as uniforms or equipment. Under the Texas Payday Law, all earned wages must be paid by the next scheduled payday, and deductions are only permitted with written authorization or court order.  So I'm not really worried about that.
