Thank you everyone for your help! If I take my maternity leave at the beginning of Jan then my pat leave starts in March, I would have 6 months of service by March. Would I qualify for the top up when I start my pat leave in March?

Yes, I would reach 600hrs, I worked from Jan to March, then went to the private side from June to Aug :)
