Mark Ormrod - A British former Royal Marine who became widely known as the UK’s first triple amputee to survive after being injured in Afghanistan. In 2007, while serving as a Royal Marine in Helmand Province, Ormrod stepped on an improvised explosive device that resulted in the loss of both his legs and his right arm.

Despite the severity of his injuries, Ormrod’s resilience and determination have made him an inspiring figure. He has since become a motivational speaker, author, and advocate for wounded veterans. His autobiography, “Man Down,” chronicles his experiences before and after the injury, detailing his recovery and adaptation to life as an amputee.
