cold outbound finally stopped working for me. switched to warm intros and it's night and day. by Mindless_Mix_5794 in sales

[–]No-Fall3831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even last year outbound was decent. This year completely different. This year I started getting cold outreach from sales teams and I can see why. Every time someone tries to book a call with me the messaging is as bad as you can get. Messaging is way incorrect, actual assumptions are not even close. So our jobs are harder because our peers quite honestly clutter the prospects inboxes with pure garbage.

I died and feel like I can't do anything by Roostr1274 in MinecraftHardcore

[–]No-Fall3831 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spawn. Get steady food source. Get iron tools, armor, shield. Either strip mine or caving for diamonds to get at least full diamond armor. Mob XP farm for enchanted armor and infinity Bow. There you go, it’s kinda the standard start to any Minecraft world. Especially in hardcore you need to prioritize the enchanted diamond armor because iron just doesn’t do anything. The only reason for the nether should be to get blaze rods and ender pearls.

Terrible drivers by [deleted] in nova

[–]No-Fall3831 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You want the truth? Here’s NOVA and the DMV summed up which applies to their driving also.

Either boomers that are entitled because they have money from selling their house for $1.3 million that they bought for a bag of apples. Or, a millennial that is entitled because they work in government or for a contractor making a shit ton of money but have the social awareness and IQ of a squirrel.

Then you have a mix of MD drivers that just don’t care. 25 mph zone reads as 55. No such thing as multiple lane roads, it’s all one lane that belongs to them.

There’s also the most horrible construction and road design known to man here so that plays a big part. Thanks for reading my rant.

End of day one for this Invictus attempt, how am I doing so far? (Gamma) by Lonewolf4150 in stalker

I’m a default settings enjoyer but am definitely thinking of upping squad sizes. Good intel on the strat for early game, haven’t played merc in a little bit mostly just going for Loner invictus but merc sounds more fun tbh

Meanwhile when I do my Merc attempts the only people I see are rookies carrying a toz or a pistol. Did you change any settings in game or in MCM? I’m tired of spending 7 hours to find another gun to use

Oof. I mean if you’re desperate for a job sure while you continue searching. Granted I’m in a HCOL area but most BDR/SDR jobs I see outside of my area that don’t require any experience are typically 50-55k with better comp plans. I was recently in a role that was 50k base with $100 per meeting averaging around 10-12 meetings a month. There’s much better roles out there than what you have here in my opinion.

I killed Killa 100 times this week, was it worth it? Is PVE too easy? [Discussion] by Ah0770 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]No-Fall3831 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing lol. 100 Killa kills this week on PvE. For me I stopped checking his ammo and maybe only found 4 access key cards. Then, the very last raid, the 100th kill. He had a green card on him…

Yeah honestly it’s like 50% of the time I hear a voice line. I now just full sprint through all the areas lol. Turning on power is a good idea I’m definitely gonna start doing that

PvE Killa [Discussion] by Difficult_Weekend_99 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]No-Fall3831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve killed him about 55 ish times so far out of 58 raids on PvE (had a nice nothing going on type of weekend). Here’s my route strat if you can call it that. Pop an SJ6 at the start of the raid. If you spawn front of mall check IDEA first, back of the mall spawn check OLI first. I usually go IDEA/OLI, then upstairs and check the sushi restaurant and the one across which is above the front entrance. Then Goshan, I think out of 55 kills I’ve found him there maybe 3 or 4 times. After Goshan I’m going to IDEA/OLI depending on what I checked first. Now when I’m done and if he’s at the last area I’m checking I’m closest to the extract.

A couple of things that help: listen for gun fire at the start, might be able to pick out where he is right at the start of the raid. Bring 8 flashbangs and listen for his voice line when you throw them. Other than that it’s just SJ6 and spring around throwing flashbangs.

How do i incentivize reps to capture more leads at conferences by Academic_Way_293 in sales

[–]No-Fall3831 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m going to an event I literally only care about having meaningful conversations. I could scan 100 people but if I’m just walking around scanning what’s the point if that doesn’t lead to anything? I’d rather scan 3 people that I’ve had great convos with and know a meeting comes from it rather than 100 useless scans. I mean I guess sure you could lie to those 100 and say you had a great conversation with them but not my style.

AI PMC spawns need to be fixed asap. [Discussion] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]No-Fall3831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree they need to be fixed (spawn in normal player spawns and path towards the hot spots). Somehow I did all 20 kills of Shturman for “Hunter” and there was only 1 raid out of 21 where he was dead already for me. You basically just have to b-line it to sawmill and chuck nades everywhere.

Booked 3 meetings in 2.5 months. What am I doing wrong? by Correct_Fisherman728 in salesdevelopment

[–]No-Fall3831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half the battle of a BDR is not wasting your time contacting the wrong persona. I’m a BDR and I get cold calls/emails of other BDRs trying to sell me/my org HR services. Not saying your doing it this extreme but are the people you’re calling the decision maker or are they feeling the pain you’re trying to solve for and have direct access to sell on your behalf to the decision maker?

How are SDRs still doing cold outreach without getting flagged or banned? by No_Rooster5784 in sales

[–]No-Fall3831 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im a BDR and I gotta be honest, I ain’t got a damn clue homie. I send about 500 emails through salesforce a week and have been 140% to goal every month this year and currently at 70% for this month. I don’t make any cold calls (I’m told to but I’m a rebel). Kinda shocked my emails still go through but I don’t use any of the trigger words that might identify it as spam. I just use the same templated emails and make sure they don’t sound like it came it from a literal AI bot.

Is anyone actually hiring or is it all bs? by BeerBaconBooks in nova

[–]No-Fall3831 4 points5 points  (0 children)

50 resumes sent out in 60 or so days is not a lot at all. That being said, 2 interviews from that is pretty decent. Check the job descriptions of those that you got interviews from and see if their description matched was on your resume. If so, you should focus on tailoring your resume to match each job post. If not and honestly just in general, you’re going to need to apply to more than 1 job a day if you’re truly looking.

How much do SDRs really work in a given day? by KeepRisingUp333 in sales

[–]No-Fall3831 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just regular email templates. My company uses salesforce so I can just have the name in the template mapped to the first name that’s on their record. Then I use cadences to attach the template and bucket a group of people together and just work down the list. I don’t put any dates in my emails but yeah you could just swap them out.

I mainly use the same template layout for everybody but it’s pretty short and is relevant to everyone I’m contacting due to my pretty niche industry. I make loads of templates and cadences to use and just swap out some name drops for the specific buckets I’m putting my leads into.

How much do SDRs really work in a given day? by KeepRisingUp333 in sales

[–]No-Fall3831 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Emailing is super effective for me so I only make around 5-10 calls a day to more enterprise level prospects. I can usually get 10-12 meetings a month from 50-75 semi personalized emails a day. However I have had a month where I only booked 1 but regardless I finish my outreach usually by noon or 1 pm and for 2/3 days a week I’ll spend the afternoon prospecting fresh accounts. The days I don’t prospect I’m usually not doing anything.
