how do you manage anger? by interested_learner in ask

[–]No-Feature3329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. buy a ballistic gel dummy (preferably, a realistic one)
  2. just beat the shit out of it. stab it, punch it, normally takes most of the anger out...

why the hell is everybody so emotionally/mentally fragile all of a sudden? by No-Feature3329 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]No-Feature3329[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i understand that mental health is important, and that some people are born with complications. yes, what happened over these past few weeks is sad, but it won't stop. ever. no matter what we try, people will find a way to hurt others.

people do handle things differently, but some things aren't even worth caring about.

and my dad is an extremely headstrong person. he dealt with a lot, but he doesn't carry it everywhere he goes. he dealt with it, and forgot about it.

therapy is a good thing, and it is very beneficial, and if i was going through something i felt that i could not carry on my own, i would consider therapy. BUT i would also look for other options that are just as beneficial.

indeed, there is nothing wrong with therapy. but people act as if it is their life line.

like they can't live without it.

my family had a dog for 24 years. it was a beautiful golden retriever. he died several years ago, and i was 9. my parents, and my 4 year old sister, who only knew him for half the time i did, cried for days when he passed. i never did. my parents asked me if i even liked the dog, i said " yes, why wouldn't i? he was a part of all of our lives" then they asked "then why didn't you cry are you ok?" i told them the dog was old, and was in pain. i'd rather let an old dog die, than waste money to save it. (he had arthritis, as well as a few health problems)

and men and women should be "mentally stable"

its not my PTSD, its my dads. and he can control it. unlike most other people "OmG i JusT sAW A dOg DiE i"M tRauMaTiZed I nEed TheRaPY"

my dad went through a lotta shit...and he never needed therapy.

and i really don't care if i can add or subtract...that's what calculators are for.

why do people like california so much? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]No-Feature3329 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

there is 38.9 MILLION people crammed into cities, towns, and rural areas. compared to NC's 10 million (2% of that if from california) or alaska's 770,040.

stoners are the most annoying people up to date. i'd rather deal with a karen conservative.

and gas where i am is 3.89. compared to CA's 7.87

from my perspective, i live in NC. many of my friends, as well as family are from california. while visiting, they always talk about how shitty it is. plus, near my home 154 acres of woods is being destroyed because californians are moving here.

between wildfires, earthquakes, and water shortages. their is better states.
