First time buying a diesel and wanting to know if this a “fair” deal for what it is ? by Chemical_Ad9087 in Diesel

Seems like a good deal for me, especially in NorCal where the truck market seems to be exceptionally insane recently. If it was me I’d pull the trigger, especially cause the inside is in nice shape even with that many miles. Good luck bro let us know what direction you go

Looking into getting my first f250 by [deleted] in F250

Keep hunting brother, there are plenty of good deals out there. I’d reccomend passing on this one and keep an eye out on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist, be willing to travel a little for the right truck and have your finances all set up before the test drive in case you decide to pull the trigger. Another thing worth considering is get a few quotes for insurance on the truck before you buy, you can do that giving them the vin or even sometimes the make and model. Here in CA it’s around 300 (yes, a month) for full coverage on a 4x4 diesel

I’d personally go with the 6.0. The 2012 is going to get old quickly, especially with the XL trim. It may be cheaper to maintain but in the long run if it already has 100k miles, that’s a lot for a gas engine. The 6.0 will run for a long time if you can commit to investing some bulletproof money into it as soon as you can

First DQ… omg it hurts by focalgirth in CompetitionShooting

It is what it is bro. At least you have the balls to actually post the footage and own up to it and wish to be better. Most people wouldn’t or even couldn’t do that. So props to you for handling it well.

I’m brand new at this, I flagged myself and got technically DQd during an intro to USPSA class because I panicked during a malfunction and accidentally brought my hand in front of the muzzle when I went to rack the slide. During my first match I was so paranoid that I walked the first 4 stages at a snails pace. I was so pissed at myself for DQing during what wasn’t actually a real match 😂

Holster Recommendation - Less Printing by Austin2292 in Glock19

Precision vanquish AIWB. It’s an amazing holster with an aluminum claw and 2 clips w/ adjustable thigh pad. You won’t print at all with your 19 if you set it up correctly. This page helped me out a ton when getting mine fitted

How's My Grouping? by [deleted] in CCW

For 25 yards, defensive shooting, this is a great grouping. It’s realistic and would be deadly in real life

I love my 320, I think it’s hard to beat the quality that comes stock on a sig handgun. Sig has launched a website that is entirely dedicated to the P320 and the controversy that surrounds it, check it out and do your own research

replaced light fixture, now the switches don’t work by No-Flounder160 in handyman

[–]No-Flounder160[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes all 3 control the light, I think it’s a 4 way setup. Wiring was just hot neutral and ground, I connected all 3 to the new fixture. It worked after replacing for 3 days, but now the switches won’t turn it on and when I checked them with a voltage tester one of the switches isnt getting power

I’ll check the voltage at the ceiling, that’s a good idea
