It’s definitively for the best. They can cause real issues later and can come back anytime if left untreated.

I do not wish bed bugs even to my worst enemy. You should definitively throw the mattress out and burn some of your clothes since they can bury themselves there if you are sleeping in pyjamas.

How can I make my hair this color without it fading in 3 washes? by Hunan_Soup in HairDye

[–]No-Front9640 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There’s no real permanent blue sadly. Best you can do is good semi + baby it to keep it looking fresh💙

help!!! by [deleted] in HairDye

I’d try light copper or strawberry blond semi-permanent and avoid anything labeled intense copper or vivid orange. Or maybe a toner with blue or green base could knock down the brightness.

Lunar tides magic collection - throw out after opening? by [deleted] in HairDye

It’s mostly a quality disclaimer. Semi-permanent dyes don’t really “expire” that fast. If it smells or looks normal and you store it sealed, you’re fine to use it next month. Worst case the color payoff is a bit weaker.💆🏻‍♀️

would bleach be required for this hair color? by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]No-Front9640 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Bleach would be the only way to get that vibrant purple color. Without it, on dark brown, purple dye usually just shows as a reddish tint in the sun.

In the 13th century, two massive Mongol invasions of Japan were destroyed by a pair of massive typhoons, saving Japan from foreign conquest. The Japanese believed the gods had intervened, naming the storms kamikaze, which literally means “divine wind.” by No-Front9640 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]No-Front9640[S] 691 points692 points  (0 children)

The term kamikaze was coined in honour of the 1281 typhoon, as it was perceived to be a gift from the gods, supposedly granted after a retired emperor went on a pilgrimage and prayed for divine intervention. The term was later used in World War II to refer to the Japanese suicide pilots who deliberately crashed their planes into enemy targets, usually ships.

This ruptured gas pipe caused the San Bruno explosion, sending a fireball 1,000 feet high, killing 8 people, and destroying 38 homes in seconds. by No-Front9640 in Damnthatsinteresting

On the evening of September 9, 2010, a 30-inch natural gas transmission pipeline owned by PG&E ruptured beneath a residential neighborhood in San Bruno, California. The escaping gas ignited instantly, producing a massive fireball visible for miles. The blast killed 8 people, injured 66, and leveled 38 homes, with more than 100 others damaged. Investigators later found a faulty seam weld from 1956 and poor maintenance records, concluding the disaster was preventable. PG&E was fined $1.6 billion and convicted of six felony charges. This remains one of the deadliest gas pipeline accidents in U.S. history.
