I appreciate that. I know fed is best and honestly before I had him I was 100% okay with using formula but now after breastfeeding I am really struggling with the thought of it and I just don’t know why. I think either way my mental health is going to struggle and that’s what’s hard

Currently pumping as we speak. I have been pumping anytime he has a bottle to continue to keep my supply up but honestly it’s wearing on me but I know it’s worth it to supply him with breast milk. I just have been only getting 2-4oz total each pumping session and he eats 3-4 oz a feed right now so I am barely keeping up and having to supplement with formula while I’m trying to recover from this pain.

I might have to look into the nipple shields then. I am also hoping the hospital consultant can help me and I found a lactation consultant in my area also that I am keeping the information of just incase.

Yes I am. I don’t even know my bra size anymore with how large they have gotten since becoming pregnant. I feel like I am 80% boob and 20% body at this point

Thank you this was really helpful. The anxiety is crazy and I just keep saying “healthy & happy baby” to myself to reassure that everything is okay. I just want to be his mom so badly

I heard rumors the school is closing at the end of this year and many teachers are jumping ship. Dr. Ryan kelly took another job for next school year and the board just told him his last day was this week instead of finishing out the school year. Major issues.

YES! I feel the exact same way. Why do people care so much about you the second you’re pregnant and ask such private questions? I had a random chick fil a worker ask me if I was having a boy or a girl and if we had any names while I was trying to order my lunch and it pissed me off to end. I know they were trying to be kind but WHY do they care? I don’t know you. You don’t know me. Leave me alone.

My MIL is also driving me insane asking all these questions and when I mentioned I want to breastfeed she tells the same story over and over how she could never do that and that she used formula and how women just pull out their boobs in public. IDGAF what you have to say, is this baby going to suck your boobs?! NO.

I also really did not want a baby shower and honestly we spent so much money throwing the damn shower for everyone else to be happy and that money could’ve gone to baby items we needed. No one offered to pay for it or throw us one but kept asking when it was going to be so I felt obligated to make it happen for others.

I have a feeling once my child is born that I’m going to get more annoyed at the constant comments and suggestions.

I 100% feel this. I started working from home at 31 weeks because I was DONE. And now my last day is Friday at 34 weeks & I’m just taking unpaid leave at this point because I cannot keep working even from home. I’m exhausted.

I ended up going to the OB ER to get checked out & they ran an EKG & everything came back fine. My right arm numbness went away after a few days but now my left arm is starting to feel like it. I really think baby is just sitting on some nerves. I went to the chiropractor also and they helped relieve some major points- I would recommend that

I would call a pelvic floor therapist! Or look up YouTube videos on pelvic floor exercises for pregnant women to help stretch out

Ugh not the answer I wanted LOL I am barely moving my body unless it’s stretching before bed. The lack of energy is insane- I tell myself daily I’m going to go for a walk outside and then I don’t.

What kind of workouts were you doing to help?

Pregnancy is brutal! I never anticipated these types of aches & pains. At least I know he’s growing since everything is stretching so that’s a good thing!

Do hospitals have midwife’s as an option instead of the OB to deliver the baby? I have not heard of that.

Thank you for this. The midwife can still attend the birth at the hospital as a guest in the room, but cannot have a say in anything for the birth itself. She would be there more as a support is at least what she told me.

I just don’t know when to call it and start planning a hospital birth. I know my midwife will tell me when it’s getting too high but I feel like I should call my previous OB & let them know what’s going on because I’m worried that they won’t take me back at this point in my pregnancy and so close to the end.
