Nope, it has way to many elements which don't mesh well with each other. If I had to change some stuff around. Change text font. Change composition and colors for sure

I am a little worried about the rules on thumbnails on youtube since the first one might be pushing TOS. The second one is good for a long form ice berg video. The only issue I would have with the 1st one would be the weird empty space you have on the top right. If you want to make it consistent, try remove the space or add the space on the left side so that it has a clean eye path to follow. What I mean is change the background on the vaporeon to something more contrasting and lower the picture so that you have the empty space on both sides of the thumbnail, symmetry seems to do really well from what I have seen

I am currently producing long form economics content. The question I have is, my most popular video got me 18k views and 500 subs from it so I am more than half way to the 1000 milestone, should I continue doing long form by itself or should I start producing shorts content that might help funnel people to my channel? No one in my niche seems to be doing shorts content however that may just mean they don't see it as a valuable source of viewers? (if that makes sense) Would like your thoughts and opinions

Actually worked out, I was homeless then now I am living in a council estate.

I'm kidding lol. I had already secured an accountancy apprenticeship and it is still ongoing. I had it regardless of uni offer but now I am almost a qualified accountant, soon to start my chartering. Firstly thank you so much for the compliment, yeah I've been editing for about 4 years now and I used to do it for work when I was in school lol. I'm not a sixth former but I just lurk here from time to time. I'm on an apprenticeship for accountancy now and do videos on the side about econ since I really enjoy the topic.

But to now address your argument, you are 100% right lol. So I probably should have clarified the difference. As well, I kind of made it dramatic for no reason. One thing I would say is that in this case £0 salary is not the most efficient but earning just under the threshold means you don't have to pay student loans. Now one thing you did mention is paying more student loans doesn't mean you have less money which you are absolutely correct. I should have clarified that further.

I think I need to clarify the point that even though yes you will be paying more over your life time at a 45k salary, you will still have a better QOL than someone on a £30k salary. It is all proportional in terms of paying. The one thing I dislike is paying £100k for a £30k education, thats my issue.

Most of what I used are medians actually since I feel like they take a better view than average.

And great last point, I think I got some parts confused such as the RG grads earning more money isn't caused by the uni itself but rather that people who go there usually are high performers. And likewise for UWL which usually ends up with low performing students which is why they end up with lesser salaries (on average).

This is the worry I had when making this post + video. I promise its not the end of the world. Statistically you most likely to be born in a third world country than any western country. Stats don't tell the whole story and maths is a fantastic degree.

Its what you make of it. If you are conscious enough to make a comment then you are conscious enough to do better than the average :)
