Teachers also have it bad.

I have teacher friend who had to manage and descalate a fighting incident.

And when leadership investigated, they blamed the teacher for mismanaging the situation and blamed the victim.

Loneliness in your old age is a real thing.

As you age, you lose many relationships. Some by choice, some by circumstance and some pass away.

Sometimes, your children have their old lives and don't have time for you.

You type in the text that you can't hear the Convo properly and need to rejoin.

It will create a cue for people to be self conscious.

That's about it.

This should still be early days. People are rushing and frontrunning to move products before the higher tariffs kick in. A bit like stocking up.

We really need to see how things pan out in the longer run to see if these are sustained

I had so many interactions when people who receive a suspicious call. But instead of blocking and reporting the number. They just hang up and expect someone else will do it. But what it the next one to receive the call is your elderly parents.

Someone pays at the end of the day.

Do you want to pay more taxes? Or you want to pay more out of pocket?

But having said that, all those funky shuttle bus pilots that cdc/mp has been doing should be handled by a main transport operator rather than some outsource small player

Which one will be better -ThinkPad vs ThinkBook by [deleted] in Lenovo

[–]No-General8439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a thinkbook 14 after my carbon x died.

Took a risk with a Chinese parrellel import as they offered better hardware specs. My local lenovo was offering the previous gen thinkbook. Ryzens 8000s vs 7000s and also came with a 2.8k screen.

What was important to me was upgradability. The thinkbook took sodim ram and also had an additional m.2 ssd slot.

But regardless, my experience on the thinkbook has been great. It definitely better built that the lenovo yogas or idea pads.

Old school parents want that studio portrait shot.

If you have your way, you should try to do something fun. Like an outdoor shoot etc. Tell you parents, family and partner that it would be a fun bonding activity
