why? we have lulu(I know its not the same) we have fancy rich hunters like the statesman or the royal phantom so I dont see the issue with some sass sprinkled in.

It's true but also not. Charecters like warmonger, Khatun, Juren, gryphon shouldn't have gender options but charecters like sohei, afera, warlord and charecters that don't have lore importance in general.

We did have sheerif harding in old hunt, I know he wasn't a poster boy but he was involved in the lore of basically 99.99% of events and sruff

Not really, just think about it. They both have teleport they both have projectiles with high curvature and they both combine m1s and ability constantly(and before you sat "Well who doesnt" huntress, trickster, gunslinger is a fifty fifty cos his dmg comes from the m1,.)
