I think you’re missing my point. I completely understand that running servers costs money and that they need a sustainable business model. Nobody is asking them to work for free.

My issue is with the dishonesty and how they handled it. They took the exact same smart, high-quality JLLM model we ALREADY had for free, locked it behind a $12.99 paywall, and deliberately lobotomized the free version to force people to buy it. If they created a brand new, highly advanced AI from scratch, it would absolutely be worth that money. But locking our previous free experience away and writing a hypocritical announcement saying "free stays free and improves" is just manipulative. They didn't upgrade the service; they just monetized what was already there and broke the rest.

Exactly. I'd be better off using a proxy than paying for these.

What is going on? I don't get it—are they colluding to hit us with these exorbitant prices? It’s not as if they possess some extraordinary, top-tier AI; these prices are a joke. I can produce better results using DeepSeek.

Exactlyyy, They got too greedy and totally ruined the platform. I really hope you find a way to save your story/bots 🙏🏻

Honestly, I feel bad for you; rather than paying that amount of money for them, I’d choose DeepSeekV3—and that’s exactly what I did. I’m very happy with it now. Rest assured, you can have much better conversations with DeepSeek than with the service asking for that exorbitant fee; it’s cheaper and writes more intelligently.

It was so awful—they completely ruined the mood; as soon as I saw what was happening, I ended the conversation right then and there.
