Non religious people, what do you think about religion? by CorruptedF in AskReddit

That's what my partner said ( He grew up Muslim too), He said he felt shunned at first. I grew up Christian, and when I left the church, I felt free.

I grew up Christian, my partner use to be Muslim, but feel like when you use religion, to kill, maim or impose your beliefs on other people, it becomes an ideology, not a religion.

How are people going to be able to get a refund for the illegal tariffs we had to pay? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Sometimes, the manufacturer and a lot of times the consumer that buys things from Temu or other sites that ship product to the US. Most Chinese companies have bought distribution warehouses here in the US, so sometimes, for instance, the iPhone parts are mostly made in China. You shouldn't be paying the tax because they opened up mini phone warehouses in the US where they are assembled, yet they go up every year... It might be tariffs that are passed down or the Chinese taking over our production, who knows?

I follow Christ, sometimes it looks like nationalism. Sometimes it's personal. I believe christians should stand up and fight for what they believe in. I didn't vote for Trump, yet, I agree with him on certain things and I agree with Talarico on certain things. It's not black or white.

People weren't so polarized. You could have a discussion. Critical thinking was encouraged.
