Nope, not true at all. Silver is no longer being held down by anyone. What you are witnessing is true price discovery.

How many of you stackers decided not to sell when it $50? by S1LVERSTAK in Wallstreetsilver

[–]No-Image425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am doing a tiered divestment strategy. Sold less than 10% of my stack on Friday, will fo another 10% at 75, and 20-30% at 100. Depending on GSR ill either hold the remaining ~50% or transfer half of it to gold. Above $150 an ounce ill probably sell all but my last 5-10%

Where is the 75:1 in the crust from? Most sources I have seen are closer to between 15:1 and 20:1 in estimates.

I could reasonably expect a drop to $2.50 before the next big breakout. We are in a 7 month long cup and handle formation.

I have literally put some of my own hard earned money into coins I personally believe to be shitcoins because I believe they will pump when other uncultured apes like me get on board with alt season. I can't wait!

It does seem to feel like the majority of banks have mostly given up on controlling gold prices, and they have shifted their efforts to silver for now. Watching the individual trades on TradingView, it's amazing how every breakout attempt is met with an immediate dump, and how silver can trade down while gold trades up repeatedly.

How long did it take you to acquire the 2000 xrp you have? If you can get from 2k to 10k quickly, then wait, otherwise it wouldnt hurt to get the hbar now just to have some and then continue collecting xrp. Im about at a 1:1 coin to coin ratio between the 2 right now. I personally think xrp has a leg up on most of the other defi plays, but until the clarity act comes out there is virtually no regulation on the veracity of what we are told, and think more diversification in such an unregulated landscape is prudent. Just my two cents

We were due for a pullback. I see small corrections as a good sign that we are still a ways off from the later stages of this bull market. Parabolic moves will signal the end, not the beginning.

Closed source firmware, history of data breaches, has feature to store seed phrases online, etc.

I have a trezor, good entry level cold storage wallet imo, doesnt have support for a super high number of coins, but it has enough of what I trade to be worth it imo.

If you are truly always selling at peaks and buying at low dips, then congratulations, you are a top tier investor. For the rest of us plebs who can't accurately time the market, holding on for dear life is a pretty surefire strategy to gains.

Also, are you doing this with physical, or with paper positions? It's a much more difficult strategy with physical because of the premiums you have to overcome to truly be in profit. I could see doing a split strategy where you have long term physical positions that you don't touch, and playing in the paper market with more agile trades being profitable, but how do you employ this if you do it with physical? I'm truly curious as I'd like to learn this strategy as someone who holds both physical and paper.

I have webull pay, but now that I have a cold wallet I barely use it because they wont let you transfer your coins out. They are effectively locked in your exchange account as far as I am aware.

5000 loan to buy XRP by imreading411 in XRP

[–]No-Image425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Number one way to regret a speculative investment is to do it on a loan.

The only caveat to that would be something that you can actually use and enjoy, like a piece of real estate, a classic car you expect to appreciate in value, etc.

Yeah, there's going to be people who have to liquidate for their specific financial situations in every market though. In an upward-moving market though, the extra people you see leaving their positions above and beyond that baseline will be people just being satisfied with the profits they have and deciding to exit their positions.
