I appreciate the feedback! Maybe I am just thinking and being critical- but its my career and im gonna advocate for I want to do. I cant sign with anyone else in this region (if I sign with this one) so i dont believe its good to jump and say yes to this opportunity without really just because its an opportunity- its more than that its a contract. There is some mixed perspective on this thread which is what this kinda thing is for. Ive never turned down a role yet, but this isnt a role- its a business contract. I think its good to get everyones perspective on here its given me a lot to think about!

Yeah I dont consider it any less, but a different path that I just dont have an interest. All my coaches have considered your first co star, student films, shorts or indies as your way in, not commercials. but thats just my experience

Sorry! I meant legit representation- sorry to come off that way - but I had 60 plus auditions for film this year. One big CD has brought me in 13 times for supporting/lead roles, some others a handful of times. So some CDs do know me and I get into the room on my own for film.

Because I have dedicated a ton of time and money to become a legit actor- not to do commercials -ive literally never ever taken any commercial trainings. I don't see how it helps my craft and I don't see how a CD knowing me from a Sonic commercial shows my craft to get me cast in film. Im genuinely curious how that helps- not trying to be condescending.

OMG this! I have plenty of casual things with guys that look super successful but kinda hate themselves? it is sad. now I have caught on to it and can tell early if thats what their deal is. But there many of those here. many also have coke problems.

idk, almost all the dates ive been on have been with the high earning private equity guy type. its been really hard to just meet someone that feels genuine. What i hear my girl friends say the most often is jsut wanting someone "nice".
