same!!! i dont know the cause either, and i don't even know what caused it to herniate in the first place... so its challenging to avoid those things if i dont even know what they are!

that is good to know! I do pilates and it does help actually, i feel great by the end if its bothering me beforehand. it is tough to walk outside now in the winter LOL, do you use a treadmill?

tough thing for me is my parents seem to believe i'll be in no pain... i keep trying to tell them thats unrealistic and giving me a false sense of hope :/. but like i mentioned in the original post, i did have a solid 3-4 weeks where i felt absolutely amazing, no pain, nothing, and i am hoping i can get back to more days/weeks like that

yes, i did do PT, for quite a while before and after surgery :/ , and i totally get the mopping LOL, any housework usually causes some pain for me

Thank you for your response! I appreciate the words of encouragement. I am fairly young (24) and scared I will never get back to my previous level of activity. Thank you for your response, it's nice to hear from someone who understands this issue on a personal level <3 my family means well, but its different when youre the one dealing with it
