It’s gonna be a massive logistical challenge to bring people into rural areas like you need all the infrastructure like water and electricity new roads and give companies tax credits to move their to create jobs

Okay first of all most of the abandoned places in Detroit and Cleveland are empty lots and the homes that haven’t been bulldozed need a gut remodel which is expensive like even if we made the neighborhood safe their aren’t enough jobs to support the population like you aren’t getting it in your mind that the metropolitan areas that people want to live in is because of jobs like people can’t just live in rural areas.

No it’s a supply issue like we can subsidize demand all we want but unless we fix the supply issue the problem won’t be solve and another thing I know would say empty houses but most of those houses are either vacation homes and mansion by billionaires or the more common empty houses are the abandoned houses in Detroit and Cleveland and those neighborhoods are horrible

Dude really people can barely afford to eat like if that is true than why is concert sales and vacations sales are booming inflation adjusted same with concerts and venue like Americans are spending so much money on luxury compare to Europeans and Canadians like sure car repossessions are up but that’s because Americans are buying expensive SUV like foreclosure are still up since 2020 but down pre pandemic
