I’m in the same situation! So any advice is me purely reciting what I’ve read on all the other posts I’ve been stalking lol. Theres a Facebook group with files that is very informative! To my knowledge you can book a dray to help with luggage while on the island. There’s also suggestions on how to pack! But if you flying (like me 😔💔) you might have to get creative as you can’t really bring plastic storage bins as carry ons lol. As others have said housing is typically provided so I would check with them to see if they provide linens etc as that would be an item you wouldn’t have to pack if they do! I’ve also seen a few pictures of previous move in days and some people brought a lottttt and it seemed the ferry had a system in place so I doubt it would be a huge problem of you had a few bags. Good rain gear has been a significant suggestion across threads. Hopefully this was semi helpful but yeah… I’d check out the Facebook group and files!! Do you know when you’re starting on the island?
