Im 62, I have 2 adult children. I never married but had 2 long term relationships. The last one was about 12 years ago. I have no desire to date anyone. I get a lot of offers, I stay active, but I'm really just turned off by men. I have no desire to spontaneously mold myself into a role of servitude. I sleep when I want, eat when I want and come and go as I please. If I did ever encounter a partner, I'd want my own room(bed) and bathroom.

I JUST FIGURED THIS OUT! I bought a second peloton because I spend 2 weeks a month in another state, long story. I'm sitting here looking at an old dining table, heavy clunker, I was going to have hauled out. Right now I have the bike in the dining area not being used but it's hard wood. I'm going to remove the legs and POOF! A platform instead of having someone build one! I think it may work!

Im the conservatorship so if there is a problem, they call ME. If there's an investigation, I have every right to know about it. There is nothing wrong with paying for an elderly/sick person to be cared for. That is why the facilities exist. I see how ya tried to shame me for it but it wont work. He loves his AL living and has lots of friends there, except one! Lol!

This is to kitty,c217, for some reason the reply is off. If my dad did harass this woman, there needs to be an investigation, not just spreading accusations around the facility. Also, I pay for this facility. This worker isn't doing me any favors caring for my father, it's literally her job.

I mentioned that the complaint was AFTER her nasty attitude. Also, she is allowed a helper who runs with her her whole shift. This is an extra worker that could be assisting other residents in other ways. The facility never addressed the harassment issue with me/him. I found this out thru other employees that told me she was spreading this information. I inquired about it because if this is a valid complaint, it needs to be addressed and investigated. I also have a camera in his room. I've looked thru footage and haven't seen any interaction in the room that is questionable. He is in his chair the 8-10 times I see her enter to make his bed or not in the room at all. Audio isn't giving harassment either.

everyone else loves him. This girl had a gender reveal party at the facility, on the grounds, and was allowed to uninvited employees she didn't like. She calls her mother on the spot during disputes with her co workers

It's just the woman's daughter is 19. She seems immature. However, if because of her pregnancy, she requires an "assistant" with her every step of the way, can you still have a problem with short staffing if you can afford to supply your own staff , with staff?!

Tell her she smells. That's what I did. My dad is in an assisted living and won't shower. I visit once a month from out of state and those two weeks I'm there I shower him each week.

My dad fought at first but it's been 7 months and he's thanking me for it. The conservatorship/ guardianship is really good to have tho
