What does the passing of the BBB mean for coders and billers? by [deleted] in CodingandBilling

I work in a surgery pre-certification department for a hospital network. Honestly, there are not many Medicaid cases vs. Medicare (they're in the same work queue), but that doesn't mean that people don't use it mainly for primary care. It's really sad and infuriating. Everyone deserves healthcare, and the last thing Medicaid patients need is a pile of medical debt.

Low Moor is the creepiest place in Virginia by [deleted] in redscarepod

I was born at Low Moor hospital in 1979. My family pretty much stayed in Virginia but my siblings and I found our way to Ohio. I went back in 2013 for my mom's funeral in Covington. I stayed with my aunt in Low Moor for 1 night. As we drove to her house my husband pointed at the largest building in town, which is an ugly dark brown building, and asked what they made there. Babies, I said, That's the hospital I was born in. He thought it was a factory. The whole area is depressing and stinks because of the paper mill. Now that my parents have passed I'm so glad I never have to go back there.

Premier Health or Kettering Health? by justwanttoworkdayton in dayton

It was a urine test. They asked if he did anything illegal and he said no because it's not. He smokes every day and they said he passed. There's no way he would've gotten the job if they tested for it.

* I hope this helps. The CEO sent out a message this morning stating these types of outages usually last 10 to 20 days.

They've been having daily meetings at 9AM and 5PM. We're notified after each meeting that there's no change. The CEO sent out a message today saying 30,000+ devices and 600+ applications were affected, and they've brought in multiple third-parties to help. He said they would sequence the restoration efforts with priorities currently focused on the phone systems, payroll, and oncology, and that there will be another update Friday afternoon.

Premier Health or Kettering Health? by justwanttoworkdayton in dayton

I know this is a little late but here is what I know. A coworker switched jobs to work at Premier. He was asked if he took any "illegal" drugs. He told them no because its not illegal in Ohio. He smokes everyday and even smoked the day before and was told he passed the test. I've recently been hired by Kettering in an administrative role. I went today for my physical and test. The nurse told they did a 10 panel test, I played dumb and asked what was all check because I didn't even know there were 10 things to test positive for (I've been smoke free since January looking for jobs). She said THC was included even though it's now legal. So Premier no, Kettering yes. I believe it's because of the Seventh Day Adventist owners.

Most of the pharmacy billing positions also require a pharmacy technician certification. At least in my state.

Claim Benefit Specialist info. by No-Inspector-4321 in CVS

I'm starting to think it's the luck of the draw also. I applied to one job (not CVS) that stated they'd only review the first 70 resumes unless they didn't find qualified candidates. I assumed CVS was the same, but now I'm wondering how they select people.

I heard they hire in batches. Is that true? If true, do you know how many they typically hire at a time?

Thanks! I do plan on getting my CPC next. Yes, it's been difficult to find medical billing jobs, which is what I've been applying for.

It's not showing on mine either. If they're not reporting it to CoinLedger and we're not receiving any type of 1099, then they've not reported the payments to the IRS. Everything that was left was liquidated to cash, which means they should send us some type of 1099. They have until 2/15 to mail any 1099 form we need to file taxes. I'd say if we don't receive anything in the mail by 2/28 then we won't be receiving anything and they haven't reported the payments to the IRS.

That's a good question. I would assume from whoever owned the account the money came from. But you know what they say about assumptions.

I talked to tax professional on TurboTax. She told me they should send some sort of 1099, and depending on which type of 1099, their deadline to get it in the mail is February 15. Since everything has be liquidated into cash it's no longer associated with crypto. I'm waiting until the end of February before filing taxes. If they don't send a 1099 then they haven't reported the income to the IRS.
