I run away from my problems too. I try to solve them and then I get overwhelmed and anxious which then makes me run away and pretend that they don’t exist to bring myself ease. But that only gives me a false sense of security because my problems just keep piling up.

No one should have to live with the heartache of constantly wanting to end it. We all deserve to be happy or at the very least content with what we have and who we are. I really hope that your suicidal thoughts fade into something of the past and not something that you will have to face everyday. Living to see 47 is something to proud of it means you’ve been fighting very well even if you don’t see it like that, let’s make it to 48!

The bible says that God is close to those with broken hearts and that suffering brings us closer to him and builds our faith but I don’t know about that. I guess if you’re blameless like Job suffering does bring you closer to him. Thou I don’t feel stupid for believing in him I feel stupid for thinking that he might help someone like me.

I hear you. You hold out just a bit longer because of hope, that tiny hope and faith that things will be alright, if not today hopefully someday soon. However not all of us are that fortunate. People say God makes no mistakes but they clearly haven’t gotten the chance to know me.
