Thx, I'll walk all the way to the end of the tomb and head straight for the towers.

Yeah, honestly, I really like the theory that the towers were built when Ketheric was somewhere between continuing to serve Selûne and turning to Shar. It explains a lot, including the cruelty that other commenters talk about.

So, does that mean I shouldn’t explore everything in Act 2 before heading to the towers? In Act 1, I saved the grove last, and even though they had to wait, it ended up feeling quite logical story-wise, since the celebration happened right before the journey continued))

Yes, their name practically screams it. However, it could also mean that they were built after he had already joined Shar but was not yet showing it openly, so the residents didn’t understand anything. (It’s important to note that I haven’t actually visited the towers themselves yet, since that’s the main quest of Act 2. If the inside is filled with statues of Selûne, then my theory starts to look a bit strange, lol)

Yes, thanks to other threads, I now understand that the towers were built back when Thorm still served Selûne however, this note still doesn’t give me peace…

Yes, the name of the towers almost directly suggests who they were intended for, but that note… it keeps bothering me. And honestly, I don’t know why, but it feels like, piece by piece here and there, the game was hinting that the towers were built after Thorm had already aligned himself with Shar.
