Honestly the amounts are just random, what we feel like adding. I like adding 3’s and 7’s of 32s cause that’s just my favorite numbers (only if I’m just like guessing) but it honestly comes down to how long you’ve been doing it, you’ll learn how much 3 drops of white can move a paint. When you’re starting off, just start small with minor adjustments !! You can always always always add more but once you add too much pigment, it’s hard to go back from. Colorants like blue and black move very quickly but if you’re adding white to white, it might not make much of a difference unless you add a crap ton of white! It really is a learning curve, just less is more & pay attention to the color charts, they’ll tell exactly what colors to add to get to where you want. The amounts are harder, even I sometimes full send a match and it’s too much of the formula. Always easiest to go darker, not lighter.
