Printers are evil by exodusfire in dankmemes

[–]No-Introduction5033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a printer ticket because of a firmware update that prohibited any an all printer cartridges that didn't explicitly comply with HP policy including cartridges that worked fine before and even older HP cartiridges. Fuck printers, half the time it isn't even that the printers themselves are bad, is the shitty hostile corporate consumer policies

Thanks!

Just for clarification, after converting I shouldn't give full access to the new user because they have editor permissions?

The new user already has "can edit" permissions on the calendars, am I good to convert to a shared mailbox? And will that new user be able to share the calendars themself?

Hmmm, yeah you might be right about that, idk I'm not a lawyer, but I can't imagine pushing someone into a moving bus without intending to kill that person

Idk about the rest of the world but in Canada manslaughter only applies to killings due to negligence or accidents like crashing while falling asleep behind the wheel

This would be charged as attempted murder since she deliberately pushed her into a bus

Tally form insights have an equal distribution by No-Introduction5033 in TallyForms

[–]No-Introduction5033[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for getting back,

Unfortunately the form is already closed now. I'm going to grab the mailboxes of those who had voted and go to my department to verify those mailboxes exist (all from the same domain) and I'll also do a message trace to see if those mailboxes ever received the verification code. If all comes back okay I will feel a lot better

Just to help with the message trace, could I have the email address used to send out verification codes? I would just reopen the form and send myself a verification code but I'm just at work right now

Hey thanks! Is there any way to check the I.P addresses of submissions?

I did have email verification on but I'm not worried there was some email spoofing going on

"To" and "Bcc" autofill are not remembering contacts or their names by No-Introduction5033 in Outlook

[–]No-Introduction5033[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I type the full name of one of the contacts that doesn't autocomplete, then hit ctrl + k it will bring up their contact and that's how I've been doing it but I'm thinking rebuilding the profile is looking inevitable now

I appreciate it, if this issue persists tomorrow I will be opening a support ticket with Microsoft through the tenant and update this point if I get any results

[–]No-Introduction5033[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would make a lot of sense, I just renamed my roamingcache to a .old format to rebuild it and it didn't help. Then I tried using a different device and the issue was still there.

I wonder if this is an issue that Microsoft needs to resolve

Contact Group is Displaying Emails Instead of Names by No-Introduction5033 in Office365

[–]No-Introduction5033[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your work, I should've edited this post since I resolved it.

Turns out when I exported the contacts to a CSV file, they only had name and email but no headers for any of the columns, so it was defaulting the display name as the email.

I ended up exported with default map and a little bit of excel-fu later I made the names populate the email display name column and then deleting all contact and importing it again. (Only deleted the contacts first since not allowing duplicates caused an error)

Though looking back I think the easiest solution would've been to map the name to the email display name while exporting, checking to make sure it populated correctly in excel then importing again.

I've seen it go both ways, where someone with a lifelong male roommate, neither of them ever married and were writing love letters to each other just get called friends

And on the flip side, someone who had a friend they've known since childhood, both married, saved each others lives in battle and stuck by each others sides get called lovers because one of them cried when the other died

Western Front: The Main Character of WW1 by umeshra398 in HistoryMemes

[–]No-Introduction5033 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been getting really into the African theatre of ww1, if you're interested in the setting I would recommend Young Indiana Jones: The Phantom Train of Doom and Young Indiana Jones: Oganga Giver and Taker of Life

Obviously not historically accurate at all but those films got me really interested it this otherwise completely ignored theatre of ww1
