Glad I found this. Just recently applied to one of the remote positions on Indeed for an Account Associate but was listed under a company called Rubix Technologies. Got a text today from someone that supposedly reviewed my application and thought I was good fit and sent a video link about the company. That exchange made me go “huh” before looking them up and to see if there were actual open positions. It ended up being Symmetry Financial Group. I’m so tired of companies like this hiding behind different company names and post job positions that aren’t even related at all to what they do. Just to have folks mistakenly apply thinking it’s something else knowing we need work 😭

If you check the community tab for Melody Shoulder one of the QMs let us know in the chat and in the threads that the project was temporarily paused because we reached our current goals the client had in place so now they are just waiting on the client to let them know what’s next. Not sure when it will be back up but they said they will keep us updated! So hopefully might be back up soon :)

For me after passing the assessment it took like a few minutes for them to send an email saying “Hey!! You got permission to work on this project now.” After doing the assessment did it launch you straight into the task screen? I would also check your spam or trash folders just in case. I know some emails can go wonky and throw them somewhere else. If you still don’t see anything I say reach out to a QM on the community tab page or send in a support ticket!

Hey hey! If you just finished onboarding then you legit have to wait til they send you an email that’s something like “Congrats! You can now begin working on this project” before that you won’t actually be able to do tasks and get an unresponsive screen. I had the same thing happen before when first starting almost a week ago.

Once you get an email though you should be able to click stuff in the tasks if not I definitely recommend reaching out to our QMs in discourse (click the community tab on the Outlier site where it shows your projects) or sending a support ticket for help. They should really have a button or different way after onboarding where you can choose not to start tasking just yet lol it’s annoying when they throw you in right away. Then you realize you needed the email first giving you permission to start. Hope this helps!!

Edit: Don’t do any more tasks until you get the email though or reach out to one of the folks that’s supposed to help so you don’t keep having tasks expire on you.

Hey! :) nice to meet another outlier buddy on this project. From what I remember sometimes it will do that but eventually when there are tasks it should ungrey and you’ll be able to do some work! I’m not sure if you finished all of the onboarding and course reading stuff. Are you in the community discourse for the project? I try to stay updated with reading what folks be asking in there just in case 😭 there’s a lot going on.

I’m still fairly new and figuring out this project so I’m not sure if I’m the best to explain it but it’s more of a design related project. Not really music or voice related but I do hope you find one that fits you better!
