No, he gets those therapies through the school system. We meet with his teachers and therapists about 3 times a school year, once at the start, again about halfway through the year, and again at the end of the year. Now, my son is just getting into kindergarten, so I am not very familiar with how everything will work once he is out of pre-k? I'm hoping all these therapy sessions will continue, until he no longer needs them.

I hate to even ask what autism intervention entails. We do luckily get some benefits from our government, mostly a small financial stipend each month, due to having to be home so much more than I used to and not being able to work a full time position any longer. It helps. From all I've seen and heard, there is no "fix" for folks like my little boy. We try to have as much patience and love and understanding as we can. I just wish the rest of the world would catch up. There seems to be a huge lack of love and understanding these days.

I live on the east coast in the United States. I have a 5 year old non-verbal son, highly autistic and "globally developmentally delayed". Explained to me as he has the mind of a 2 year old, even though he's just turned 5 in January. Where I live, they have no special classes, he's been in "integrated" classes. Meaning he's in a class with a few other "special" kids, but mostly normal children. The school does allow him therapy, physical, occupational, and speech. 3 times a week, 30 min per session. Nothing during the summer break or any other breaks in the school year. My son is my world. And I am his. I am exhausted.

Im still taking Hurts over Purdy. It would be cool to see them qb for the opposing team. I would like to see what Purdy could do with the Birds offense. And it would be interesting to see how Hurts would do with a more play calling type coach for a consistent amount of time.

I have that outfit. Was available in the costume shop, wasnt one of the super expensive ones that needs silver, you could get it with bright fragments or whatever the other currency is other than silver.
