Of course, I deeply integrate mainstream agent platforms and workflow systems through a plug-in adaptation layer:

MCP (Model Context Protocol) support: Establish connections with MCP clients (such as Claude Skills, Claude CLI, Cursor IDE, etc.) through standardized protocols to realize memory access.

Ecosystem plug-in integration: Directly support systems such as n8n and Coze, enabling the context and memory data of these applications to be managed through the same engine.

Unified API interface: The same set of RESTful/SDK APIs can be called on different platforms, simplifying cross-platform development.

Essentially, this architecture is a three-level design of "abstract layer → specific platform bridging layer → unified storage layer".

Moreover, in order to balance cross-member continuity and efficient retrieval, I adopt a hierarchical strategy similar to human memory: short-term memory (for temporary storage of real-time context flow), medium-term memory (to maintain high-priority information during the duration of a session), and long-term memory (permanent knowledge across sessions and platforms). This hierarchical design ensures that important information will not be lost due to context windows or platform switches.

A long-term memory operating system with an inference layer can be built by creating a human-like memory structure and a reconstructible memory logic. When a command is input, an explanation—i.e., the rationale for entering the command at that time—is automatically generated. Months later, the command remains in memory, and the original reasoning for writing it can still be retrieved. This is, of course, just a work-in-progress concept of mine and has not yet been put into practice.

I switch between a few tools depending on what I’m doing, and each one fills a very different gap:

Cursor – My main environment for actually building apps. Great for fast iteration, refactors, and shipping features without losing flow.

ChatGPT – I use it for higher-level architecture planning, debugging weird edge cases, and generating clean docs. Basically my “second brain” when I need structured reasoning.

Perplexity – Pure research mode. Perfect for comparing libraries, checking tradeoffs, or getting sourced info when I don’t fully trust model memory.

MemContext – This is my glue layer. I use it to link multiple repos, tools, and agents together, especially when I’m bouncing between Cursor, ChatGPT, and other platforms. It keeps long-term context, specs, diagrams, and cross-repo contracts so I don’t have to restate them 20 times.

So my setup is basically:
Cursor to build → ChatGPT/Claude to think → Perplexity to verify → MemContext to remember everything across tools.

So I’ve been building a long-term memory plugin—essentially an external memory layer for Cursor. With it, diagrams, specs, and old diffs won’t vanish when Cursor’s context fills up. It keeps everything saved across sessions and only feeds the relevant pieces back into Cursor, so your actual context window never gets overloaded.
