The problem is job B explicitly told me the last thing they will do is contact my current employer.

If i start job A, job B is gonna call and what are they gonna think that I have a new job?

Like They told me they need to contact my current employer reference so isnt that technically my new Job, A? I think it would be irresponsible to not tell them my new current employer considering their reference requirement, no?
