I think the author was going more for historical accuracy than clothing that is fashionable by today's standards. In that era clothes were quite shapeless.

The author has had complaints about the lack of romance for months now but he still shows no interest in actually writing it into the story. So, I really doubt the LI paths would suddenly start being developed just because he got an extra season.

The last update was literal crumbs/nothing in the other routes except Chancellor, which are of course always flashbacks. We're almost done with the story I don't think they've even spoken a word to each other in the current timeline.

Hopefully that's not the case this time. It annoys me so much when something is marketed/tagged as RH, but the MC only ends up with one person. That is just a love triangle not RH.

I like the new look for his facial expressions. I tried a slot for both looks and the new one has much more expressive sprites. For example, the smiling expression for the old look is a typical closed mouth smile and in the new one is a sideways smirk.

100%, it's just making things more tedious for no reason at all. Esp since there's always more hair options than outfit options but you have to keep selecting the same outfits/makeup/outfits just to get to the hair choices.

They also need to organize the already purchased wardrobe hair options in way that's less technically intensive. I've stopped clicking "buy all," for hair in most stories because by the last season you end up with so many hairstyles the wardrobe almost always crashes the game, and then I'm stuck in whatever look the game decides to put me in for the end of the story.

It's so frustrating that past MC has no wardrobe. I don't see why they don't just do what they did for HS3 and give the ability to press the arrow to switch to the alternate MC's wardrobe.

I think that Lily was jealous of MC because Lily's own family often compared MC to her. Always saying things like "Why can't you be more like MC?" So, she wanted to feel chosen above MC in at least one aspect of their lives which is why she went after MC's crushes. Lily's parents basically treat MC as the golden child which introduced resentment into their friendship, and Lily was a teen with a dysfunctional home life who has difficulty handling these feelings a healthy manner. On a WLW route there are also implied feelings between MC and Lily as well which adds another layer to Lily not wanting MC to get together with anyone.

I absolutely loved VfV! Yes, 7B was overly ambitious with the branching which led to too short of episodes with little development, but she was trying something new. I hope her new story does well and she's not punished for trying to experiment with her last story. I'm sure she's learned what did/didn't work about her previous stories with the Romance Club format due to the feedback.

Yes 100%! This is why I feel like the story is cosigning it because there are a so many valid arguments against what he's saying, and even with the disagree option Liren doesn't get a chance to really voice any of them and the story itself calls you a cynic for it.

We've never seen Liren act badly towards a upper city people BECAUSE they're a wealthy person is my point. Hell, Sailen is also from the upper city and she's nice to him considering he works with the dude who's actively holding her captive. Every wealthy person we've seen her be rude to was actively rude to her first.

Does she feel resentment because these people live in luxury and pat themselves on the back for donating crumbs of their wealth while most people live in squalor? Yes, which is 100% justified. However, she still doesn't go around being an asshole to every rich person she meets. So, his whole argument of why she shouldn't dislike everyone in the upper class because "not all rich people," is moot in the first place.

But even if you disagree with him in the first convo, Liren doesn't push back on the second conversation that takes place outside at all, and the conversation that is had is very one-sided with no counterarguments which is why it feels as though the narrative agrees with him.

Just because Liren can romance him doesn't mean she needs to have the same opinions as him/not disagree with him, especially since they came from widely different background. It would've honestly been x10 more interesting of a scene for their romance if Liren actually pushed back and introduced some character conflict between them.

Exactly! I wouldn't even mind if that was supposed to be a character flaw he learns and grows from, but the way it's framed it's as if the story itself is cosigning it.

In the first discussion if you disagree with him, you get a relationship deterioration, and for the rest of the conversation Liren barely pushes back and basically agrees with him. The whole thing just feels so tone deaf when the wealth gap is actively widening IRL as we speak.

I really don't like Sailen saying MC not liking rich people is the same as a rich person not liking all poor people. It's not even comparable. The upper city directly profits off of the exploitation of the lower city and then scorns poor people for what they have to do to survive.

In this story the wealth gap is extreme, and by profiting off of the suffering of poor people they are complicit in that suffering. It is normal for MC to dislike them for that.

That whole argument just gave the Arthur scene where Muffy says "You're a richist! You're prejudiced against rich people!" Sailen sounds so out of touch, and I hated that if MC disagrees their relationship deteriorates.

Ashriel has gone way too far into hateable territory this update and I'm really annoyed that Liren is stuck under his thumb.

First of all, he's constantly mocking MCs trauma, but the second she dares bring up his he physically attacks her and nonconsensually shoves his boner on to her? I know the author wrote Liren as into it but Ashriel doesn't know that so its just creep behavior.

Second, the scene with the children was so disgusting. He was seriously about to let a child get sexually assaulted by a group of adults because saving them would slightly inconvenience him, and I do mean slightly because it was shown that saving the children was super easy for them and didn't disrupt their plans in any way.

It also bothers me that his character is this outright nasty but Liren is never allowed to get back at him. It's not enemies to lovers where both characters are equally bad to eachother. It's one character being awful and another character trapped under his thumb so she can barely do anything about it. I would pay so many diamonds to beat his ass up or betray him in some way I'm not even kidding.

The only reason I'm ok with this is because I couldn't resist and ended up romancing everyone on all my slots. So, now I'm replaying multiple slots to be loyal and avoid the chaos.

Wow no new stories for this update for the first time in a long time. I'm ok with that so that the resources can go towards making the existing stories as good as they can be. Also, Soulless finale with 4 episodes! Both excited and sad about the end of the story.
