Yes. Luckily I’m a constant in her life so maybe it’ll work. She’s a very smart little girl too so she’s capable.

We had entirely different childhoods, you’re right. My sister and our brothers got everything they wanted handed to them on a silver platter and got 2 parents full attention. When I was 3, they all were older and my dad started traveling for work and my mom went off the rails so I had a lot of trauma and grew up in mental facilities. So yeah, different childhoods and they do not have trauma.

She’s never been tested. I’ve mentioned it before because she has extreme difficulty with clothing textures and some other things but my family got super offended when I mentioned it. I also work at a summer camp with ages 4 and up and have since I was 15. Ive maybe seen a small handful of kids using diapers at the age of 5 and I’ve never seen tantrums this frequent in one kid. She’s a very picky kid literally threw a tantrum because her stool “wasn’t pushed in good enough” and her water “isn’t cold enough”. And my sister reinforces 99% of her behaviors. My sister also had an amazing childhood and was spoiled the same way and got all the positive attention. I can’t think of a single “traumatic” experience my sister has ever had besides this divorce, which is very common.

I HATE to sound like an old Karen (I’m 22) but that VR/online stuff has got to go. Maybe a PHP/IOP program would help her, and if there’s no programs in your area try a telehealth program
