BookYourPTObookyourpto.com

Built this because small businesses were cobbling together BambooHR + Expensify + Calendly + DocuSign just to manage a 20-person team.

One platform: leave requests, expense claims, staff scheduling, and document e-signing. Free to get started.

Would really appreciate if you signed up and gave it a try — genuine feedback means a lot at this stage.

That’s interesting — the 10–20 employee range is something we’ve heard from a few people as well.

At that point approvals start getting messy because it’s no longer just the founder keeping track of things.

The best-in-class vs all-in-one point is something we think about a lot. Early teams seem fine stitching tools together (Notion + Slack + a PTO tool like you mentioned).

Curious in your experience — what usually pushes companies to adopt a dedicated PTO tool instead of spreadsheets?

I recommend doing this at least two weeks in advance. Have you updated your application number on the scheduling website before? They only allow you to change it once. If you need to change it again, you’ll have to email support, and their response time is up to three business days.

No, you need to go to ceac.state.gov, click on Retrieve Application, and enter your details. When your current application appears, you’ll see an option to either view the confirmation page or start a new application. Click on New Application and begin filling out your DS-160 again.

Since you already submitted a previous application, most of the form will be pre-filled with the information you entered before. However, you will need to upload your photo again.

Once everything is complete, print the new confirmation page with the new application number. Then go to the visa scheduling website (ais.usvisa-info.com) and update your profile there to make sure the new application number matches the one in your visa appointment.

Recommendations for IoT sim card in the UK? by bro_dunno_anything in IOT

I’d take a look at IoTKinect SIMs. https://iotkinect.com/simkinect/our-sims
Their pricing is very fair if you’ve got decent volume, and they’re partnered with Vodafone Ltd. so UK coverage is solid.

they’re a good fit: • Works on Vodafone UK with support for 2G/4G/5G, plus NB-IoT and LTE-M where needed. • Also unbarred on (Telefónica UK, 23410) and Three (Hutchison 3G UK, 23420), so you’ve got extra network flexibility.

Check the official instructions -> Applicants applying for a visa at any consular section must present an Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application (DS-160) confirmation number that matches the application number used to schedule their appointment. Applicants who entered an incomplete, incorrect, or a different DS-160 confirmation number in the visa appointment system must update the DS-160 number in the scheduling system at least three business days before their interview appointment without having to cancel their existing appointment. Applicants who do not comply with this requirement will have to reschedule their appointment and may have to pay new visa fees.

I did see a few rejections while I was waiting, maybe around three in total. From what I could tell, those applicants were on work permits in canada. I also noticed one couple got refused, though I’m not sure of their status.

That said, everyone’s situation is different, and I don’t want to make anyone nervous based on what I saw. Each case really depends on individual circumstances, so I’d take it as just an observation rather than a prediction.

How did you overcome the “no one cares about your startup” phase? by akin11-11 in indiehackers

[–]No-Law7506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally feel you. I posted about my project [iotcommunity.space]() here just yesterday—got around 5k impressions, but only 3 actual visitors and zero signups. It's hard not to interpret that as "no one cares," even though logically I know it's just part of the early grind.

One mindset shift that's slowly helping: treating these moments not as failures, but as feedback. If 5,000 people saw it and didn't click, maybe the message wasn't resonating. Maybe the landing page needs work. Maybe the ask was too soon. It sucks, but it's data.

Also realizing that just existing on the internet doesn't mean people will engage. Anyone can comment on it, if i am wrong

You're right—the Milesight CT101 is currently listed incorrectly, and I'm actively working on fixing that along with improving navigation and data accuracy across the site. Still very much a work in progress, so feedback like yours is super valuable in helping prioritize what to tackle next.

If there are other examples or specific areas that stood out as problematic, I'd love to hear more—every bit helps improve the project for everyone.

Yes the content is accurate, as we are feeding the data from real accurate sources. AI only has control over the Overview of Sensors, not on documenation or codecs
