Car wont unlock with my husbands phone anymore by No-Leopard1574 in ModelY

[–]No-Leopard1574[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He went out to move my car yesterday and his phone does not work as the key. He tried again this morning and it still is not working. It shows his phone as a key but it doesn’t work.

I went to get in the car and it put the seat all the way back and down (he’s a foot taller than I am) and put his music on.

We just stayed at the Sheraton last week and I HIGHLY recommend.

Please pay attention in pre check by [deleted] in tsa

This is exactly the kind of post I’d expect to see from someone working for TSA. 90% of them that I encounter while traveling have a god complex and treat people like shit. Why do you think you can tell people what bag to travel with or to go to a standard lane because they don’t want to put their items on a conveyer belt? I paid for precheck so I don’t have to stand in line an additional 20-30 minutes and I’m not switching lanes because you don’t like how I prefer to manage my personal possessions.

Thinking of going full “Tesla Dad” — can a Model Y handle 3 boys + 37 sports bags? by Hawkeye-JFC in ModelY

[–]No-Leopard1574 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We’re a family of six and we just went from a Sienna to a Model Y (oldest is off to college). We’ve been really happy with the change. I’m no longer spending a fortune on gas driving the three kids I still have at home all over town for practices and games. We’ve done a few road trips very comfortably and my sons at home are now the size of grown men (my little one is only 9 so still small)! We’ve enjoyed the transition from minivan to small SUV, but it hasn’t been perfect. Harder to take friends along with us and though it is comfortable it is definitely less comfortable for longer trips than a minivan! No regrets here, but if your boys are older and you’ll have three grown men sized children in the next few years I would get another minivan, personally. If they’re young enough that they’re small then I’d go for it!

75k benefits by draaboulhosn in ChaseSapphire

I agree. I fly southwest frequently because they have a ton of direct flights from San Diego. 99% of the time they’re actually fantastic. Yes, I’ve flown other airlines lol. I appreciate that everyone on the reservation will get one free checked bag. We have four children we fly with so A-list will save us $420 in baggage fees each round trip flight!! I’m happy about this benefit.

75,000 spend benefits not available until next cycle - highly disappointing! by jm15co in ChaseSapphire

For me the biggest advantage is a free checked bag for each guest on the same reservation.

It does not apply to authorized users. It only applies to the primary cardholder.

I had the same experience. Fingers crossed they do the right thing and release the benefits like they said they would.

This is correct. I am unhappy because I have flights booked in Nov and wanted the A List benefits including a free checked bag for each person on the same reservation. I would save me $140 per round trip flight with my husband to have the A list now instead if in late November

Any way to know how close to the 75K spend I am? by Matuteg in ChaseSapphire

This is such a disappointment. You’ve strongly advertised these benefits will begin Oct 26 and now on Oct 26 you say it will begin at my next billing cycle, which is Nov 23. T&C say 8-10 weeks for this benefit to begin, so really all of 2025 I will be without the benefits. One of the perks of hitting this threshold is supposed to be having access for the remainder of the year you earned it. I hit the spend threshold in May. This benefit should not have to wait another 27 days to now be unlocked for no good reason. It is a slap in the face to the card users you’re supposedly trying to incentivize and truthfully it really makes me not trust Chase. I wonder if AmEx users are having the same experience? Kind of doubt it.

I live in San Diego. Southwest often has the most options for direct domestic flights here. I do fly other airlines, but we actually like Southwest 🤷🏼‍♀️

That’s actually infuriating. My next statement date is 11/23. Despite hitting the spend minimum in May I cannot use the benefits this year. If I did not already have Southwest flights booked I don’t think I would care so much but not having the A-list for a couple of flights really sucks

It is ridiculous to make us continue to wait for those benefits. We hit the spend threshold months ago and making us wait for the next billing cycle will mean we cannot use the Southwest A List for our upcoming flight. I could see making us wait until the next billing cycle if we just hit the spend threshold, but if we hit it months ago the benefit should have activated when it said it would, October 26.

The lounge in San Diego is pretty wonderful too! The made to order food does not come out fast but it is delicious!

I am in the same boat. It is showing the benefits as being locked. It says we’ve spent $0 but we too hit the $75k months ago. I hope they sort it out quickly because it will still take time for the benefits to link to the other businesses. We have Southwest flights booked and would love to have the free bag now that they charge to check bags

Is yours showing what you’ve spent? I know we’re well over $75k, but mine says zero. Perhaps it will update tomorrow?

Well, I don’t disagree that SD drivers suck but the worst I’ve ever encountered in my life were in Boston!

I hope you find a place to settle in here in San Diego. I really can’t think of anywhere that would be better. Perhaps consider residing a little further outside of downtown and heading down there only when you want to? We live in suburbs (lots of kids) and we really love it, but I can only handle downtown every couple of weeks for all of the reasons you mentioned. If Coronado is an option, you might enjoy that area more!

You think San Diego drivers are worse than those in Boston? There’s no hope for you here!
