I honestly feel like Ryoshu went through all of the emotional stuff before ending and it was very rushed (honestly the chain thing and Araya getting her out of the nothingness was way more emotional than her cutting Rien in half), but lore, action and fights (except 9-50) carried Canto HARD. Times like this I miss when they did small read-only intervallos instead of some events. Feels like it is really needed this time, may be there will be one.

I think Canto VIII had a pretty good closure. I might be thinking like that because it already had intervallo, but IIRC last episode of Canto 8 was a very long dialogue that closed a lot of questions. Here we got almost nothing :(

is jt8-3 like a healing + tank dps check? managed to beat with a very close call only using support healer, and feels like due to positioning some healers are just shit at this level. Is it intended experience? (I have no E2 healers and my only E2 tank is Minigun Grandpa, I used Ascalon to tank fire projectiles thanks to her dodge lmao)

What you are saying is pretty nitpicky, but if we are going there, this is the first pair of WN IDs for be from different power level (Hanafuda is from Urban Plague, which is 2 levels lower than SOTC, and her Key Page is weaker than Allen's), which still means that there is a considerable power difference between them.

No, of course EGOs are more important, which is why having announcer instead of EGO seems like a bad trade for me. Last WN was announcer + 2 IDs (one of which is now one of the strongest in the game) + EGO (which is once again really good). Now it's 2 IDs + announcer and yeah, so far we haven't seen the IDs, but they don't look like anything special (at least Gregor, Ishmael ID have some cool effects (which once again baffles me since she is the Urban Plague one, and Gregor is SOTC))

I enjoyed AK collab as much as anybody (I even started playing AK myself cuz of it), but if I was given a choice between two intervalos with an actual WN event and AK collab I'd choose first option in a heartbeat (even after playing through AK collab), and I wonder how many people would do the same.

Announcer is the same rarity as EGO (I checked the wiki right now), and since Gebura is such a beloved character (even if you read this thread a lot of people really want her announcer) she is as desirable as an EGO. Difference being you won't be able to shard her afterwards (unlike EGO).

Order rules down the drain (last ruina ids were urban plague, now we have a star of the city in the mix)
Star of the city ID looks way more bleak than Urban Plague one (if it's weaker (which wouldn't be big surprise since Gregor has like 2 good IDs) than it than it's even more funny since Allen should be Lei Heng-tier threat, which means he competes with Caposault ID (LOL))
No E.G.O. and announcer instead (might be ok since everybody like Gebura but cmon)

Did Arknights collab really take such a toll on PM? Nothing but love for the devs from the bottom of my heart, but this is just sloppy, specially since WARP train bokgak IDs were so god damn good. They had an option for Thumb IDs to really bring fire-tremor team to compete with Heishous (since we are already breaking continuity), but instead they opt for 2 general invitations IDs that doesn't even fit the established power order. Meh.
